If you have access to an Android device - this software, along with a Bluetooth OBD-II adapter and an adapter cable will reset your "Service" light and read codes etc... (for about 1/4 the cost of a GS911):

It's worth noting that you can reset the service reminders with a Bluetooth dongle like the OBDLink LX and Motoscan (though you'll need the paid version for that). Used that for years with my R1200R and now using it happily with my K1600GT.
At least in the US the "stamping of the service manual" in my experience seems to be less of an issue and actually is almost never done. I've purchased a couple of used Bimmers and never had an issue or even found the service manual even cracked open. My last couple I bought new.
Sorry, as an Android user I don't know of any iPhone alternatives to that app.
It can be done with $80 - $100 in parts.
You will need an Android device - some suggest buying a cheap <$50 Android tablet, or find one to borrow.
So I thought that too, and someone else saved my day so i'll pass it on.
Motoscan. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.wgsoft.motoscan (I don't speak iPhone, but there's a version available)
You'll need a Bluetooth OBD reader, and the conversion cable for BMW's round port.
Plug it in, install the app (you'll need the middle tier to do resets, I think it's 23 bucks), connect, and voila...no more service lights. Plus, i's the same OBD reader that will likely fit your car's OBD port, so its handy if you get a trouble code on the car too.
If you're a handy guy, try to learn how to maintain the bike yourself (oil, chain, tires, etc), because BMW shops will suck your wallet dry. This is a very popular bike and there's a ton of videos on YT on how to do just about anything. Oh, and if you need to read error codes or reset your service intervals, don't waste money on GS-911. This is all you need:
I think you looked at the wrong motoscan app ,it has nothing to do with a dyno.
