Or maybe you could try a free and open source expense desktop app like HomeBank. No phone app for it, though.
My Expenses is a FOSS expense app for Android.
I personally love My Expenses. It is a great open source application.
I recommend buying the Extended Key (1-time purchase), and to get all of the features of the Professional Key (Subscription), you can just buy them each individually, depending which you need:
Não sei se está na play store, descobri no f-droid, é uma aplicação Open source

Like I said, whichever suits you better. I have tried several and I change from time to time. I always try to stick to open source. You can try this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.totschnig.myexpenses
I have a couple of question for you GNUCash users, I hope you don't mind me asking.
Can the Android version be used stand-alone or is it designed to be syncronized with the desktop version?
I'm using My Expenses currently for my personal finance, it doesn't do one thing I'd like.
I'd like that the recurrent expenses and punctual expenses programed for the future appeared somewhere, in a budget, but separating clearly what's the real current situation and the expected situation at a certain point (end of the month for example).
Can GNUCash do this? If so, can you point me to a tutorial? If not, do you know another application that can (preferably Free and with an Android version)?
Thanks a lot in advance
My Expenses for keeping track of your expenses.
Check out My Expenses. It's open source too.

An open source alternative is My Expenses on F-droid or available on Amazon or Google
It's free but you can buy the contrib key which adds some functionality.
Has anyone had any experience good or bad with My Expenses?
It is an open source app.
Io ho usato per un periodo My Expenses e mi sono trovato abbastanza bene
Recurring transactions?
Few questions:
Are you looking for a service which syncs with your accounts online?
Are you looking for Cross-platform sync (real-time or on-demand)?
Are you manually tracking?
Open Source?
Personal Finance has a budgeting tools section in their wiki. I'm not certain how up-to-date it is.
Play - My Expenses is a fairly full featured app. It may be overkill for what you are describing, however.
Play - Budget Watch is a fairly simple, no gadgets/gizmo app.
Play - Financius very simple app. Hasn't been updated in a couple years and dev looks like he has changed focus to IAP model with new app. However, both are on Github
My Expenses. Open source with a one time IAP. Not the best material UI but gets the job done. I like the widgets .
Been using My Expenses since 2015, would not change it, not even for Money Lover https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.totschnig.myexpenses
In case you don't mind to use an Android app for this, I highly recommend My Expenses:
