The NASA app has options where it'll notify you before ISS sightings based on locations you've saved/your gps data.
The app is free and pretty great. I have it set so that my phone background automatically and regularly changes based on which types of astronomy-based photos I want to see.
I definitely recommend looking into it. There's a wealth of info and many, many thousands of photos.
Edit: Here's the link from Google Play Store -
The NASA app has some great photos. The bad thing is that they are not organized at all so you have to scroll through even when you use the search.

That's awesome! There are constellation maps you can get on iPhone or Android. I haven't use mine in awhile. I'll go search what the best on now is. They use your gps to show you where they are.
I just downloaded nasa app
If you want to see the International Space Station your best bet is to use NASA's own SPOT THE STATION at SpotTheStation.NASA.gov
You can go to the site and enter your location (a nearby city or town is fine) to get sighting info and 5-15 min early notifications, but for the best sighting opportunities sign up for free Alerts to be sent to you. They'll be sent when viewing conditions will be best because ISS will be the closest to you. (3min-6min long viewings are awesome.)
Spot The Station Alerts will give exact time & direction of appearance, duration, height, and direction of disappearance. (No spam whatsoever.)

My Dad was an Aerospace Engineer who worked on the Solar Array that powers the Space Station. The first time I saw the ISS approaching I was so thrilled and so proud of my Dad I cried.
I've shown the Space Stoation to many friends and kids since then and even non-Space fans find it very exciting.
NASA also has a cool free Official App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=gov.nasa
You can follow ISS, watch videos, and watch a live sunset or sunrise over Earth from Space! Enjoy! :)
This NASA app will give you a new astronomy related wallpaper every day.
Ah, fuck yeah! Android app store?
Edit, this one?
