In the meantime, if you want to get your coins off an exchange, feel free to use the Android app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.obsidiancvt.payblk&hl=en_GB or just go to https://payblk.blackcoin.io
Or indeed use the original wallet with the bootstrap which shouldn't take too long (well, less than a day) to sync up.
No worries.
If you're just holding the coins temporarily and not thinking about staking, you can use the wallet which doesn't require any syncing at https://payblk.blackcoin.io or download the PayBLK Android app at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.obsidiancvt.payblk&hl=en
That wallet platform will also get staking capability soon.
Yes: https://payblk.blackcoin.io and the Android version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.obsidiancvt.payblk
Staking on that platform is being worked on by janko33 to bring that to a client which does not need to sync.
FYI the crypto stuff happens client side in javascript, so as long as your computer is secure, so should the wallet be.
