Thanks for this; I didn't know about Perfectly Clear ($2.99)
From Google Play:
> Our advanced camera includes face, blink & smile detection that automatically captures the perfect portrait or selfie, powerful Panorama, amazing HDR, and more. Plus we've leveraged the latest innovations of Android's Lollipop, giving you full-resolution high speed burst, full-resolution panorama (Nexus 6 & 9), HDR shots of fast-moving subjects, full White Balance control, and more.
App seems to focus on photo editing (very cool) and packs the Camera2 API and a shooter in for good measure! Do you happen to know what features they support? Manual ISO adjustment, shutter, focus (via slider), DNG capture and/or editing, etc?
I tend to use the stock android camera on my N5 however there are two others that I use from time to time. Perfectly Clear has some great features to auto enhance pictures. It can make a dark picture brighter, make someone's skin look nicer, etc. I tend to use it more for touch ups but you can use it as a camera. The other camera I would recommend is Camera Awesome. Is it faster? I don't know but it does add some great features and I feel takes a slightly better picture. Slightly noticeable that is. Well hope this helps.
Hey, I wondered if someone has experience with Perfectly Clear, a photo app using the new API and doing a lot of stuff automatically. Possible more interesting for people not too much into photography just wanting to have a nice picture without knowing about ISO, shutter speed, aperture... (like me)
It's $2.99 (resp. €2.11) and I'm thinking about buying it. Is it worth it?
