I just want to point out, for people looking for alternatives, don't install RSBrowser. As far as I can tell (via Play Store links & XDA thread), there's no released source code of the modifications made for RSBrowser either.

If a device (flagship) has more RAM, it keeps the page open for longer too, though it doesn't mean it wouldn't ever reload, it still hits the breakpoint sooner or later.

If you don't want it to reload as often, though, I'd recommend switching browsers. Perhaps some optimized Chromium-based browser?

I have found RBrowser, which seems to be the same as JSBrowser, but not RSBrowser. They are the same or are you mentioning another one?

If you have a snapdragon powered phone, try running this in Rbrowser, it made a huge difference in performance on my LG G4

Ditch Chrome and use the open sourced Chromium browser (with adblocking.) It is specifically designed for Qualcomm chipsets and it shows.

For example if you search for something and then click on it, the default qcom browser tries to launch the wikipedia app so I changed it. I found that kind of annoying. Also I updated the license files so it attributes the easylist authors which the default code does not.
