I believe you're safe. As an RW dev, I've been rocking the Moto X Pure 64GB for some time. You can install the new Republic App on your device and double check, too.
Install the Republic app. Insert the Republic SIM. You will be prompted to activate the device. Log in with your Republic credentials. You will be asked if you want to upgrade an existing phone number or start a new service line. Based on your description, you want to upgrade an existing. Complete any subsequent steps. After a few minutes, it will report that your new phone is activated. Your old phone will no longer have service.
If you hit any snags, open a ticket.
Depends on the phone. See a list of compatible ones here: https://republicwireless.com/bring-your-own-phone/ or better yet download the app on your phone and see if it's compatible: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.republicwireless.tel
> Republic Wireless is a no-go
Provided you have an Android with Marshallow+ (≥6.0), there is a way to check if your Android phone is compatible with Republic using the Republic wireless app.
