What is Reddit's opinion of Robo Defense?

Robo Defense, apparently. I also bought Beautiful Widgets Pro not too much after that, which (I believe) would have been for my OG Droid.

Is it worthwhile just jumping straight to the paid version? What does it bring to the table? I like a good TD game.
