It turns out that I was wrong. What I said was true initially, but last February Harebrained Schemes did put it out on Android too. Sorry for the confusion.

It's not that the content isn't out there, it's just that it is incredibly hard to find.
Humble mobile bundles make the good surface up a lot, but I would have NEVER found them if it wasn't for being bundled.
Also, did you know that for example this game is on the play store, for just 3 bucks ._.

I think the problem is the target audience. The largest target audience there is on mobile devices are not "gamers" per se, making timewasters completely overshadow proper releases. So much so, that even Nintendo feels forced now to venture into mobile gaming because the audience difference between their current handhelds and what is there for mobile is just so vast.
Its not for my tastes but I would say ShadowRun Dragonfall would be exactly what you're after.

Shadowrun Dragonfall Director's Cut and Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic, two of the best RPG's I've ever played.
You could also get Shadowrun Returns and GTA: San Andreas, both are damn good games, and IMO, every gamer should have at least one GTA game handy at all times.
You are right! I didn't notice that it came out recently. It is available: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.harebrainedschemes.dragonfall&hl=en
Shadowrun: Dragonfall, Shadowrun Returns and Knights of the Old Republic are all amazing games that I cannot recommend enough. You also might want to get your hands on a Grand Theft Auto game since they're always fun; I went with GTA San Andreas.
If you're not as concerned about the dungeon crawler part.....
Shadowrun: Dragonfall and Shadowrun Returns will tick the other boxes. Definitely not what I'd call dungeon crawler but they've got all the rest.
Star Wars: KoToR would also check the other boxes as well. Free via Amazon Underground.
I have no idea on the original game, but the premise and the gameplay sounds like Shadowrun: Dragonfall might be your thing

It's often available for $3 / €3 on Steam, GOG and other stores, as well for Android and iOS.
Also doesn't require a ton of resources, so you can play it on any computer, laptop, surface tablet whatsoever.
