I tried responding on your TTS self post but my comment isn't appearing.

I appreciate the work you've done in helping us to install this.

The main reason I wanted it was for ebook reading in Moon Reader Pro for my new Sony Xperia 1 III Android 10 device. I got it working in an app called Talk FREE but I cannot get it working in Moon Reader. I made a quick video to show you.

I feel I'm so close. Perhaps an older version works? Perhaps I have to use adb to disable (if possible) the Google Text-to-Speech engine which it keeps defaulting to? It would be so great to get this working. I did root this device so I'm willing to try anything.

Talk can read a website you share to it. MoonReader also has text-to-speech-capabilities, but I couldn't get it to display in my share-to-menu, so it won't fulfill that part of your request. If it's acceptable to open a file in the text-to-speech-app, MoonReader is far superior to Talk in every oher aspect.
