I like to use Trello to structure my tasks. I keep a tab open for each month's "Done-tasks", and one for my Todos.
This way it's easy to look back on achievements, and easy to keep track of, and prioritize what I want to do next.
Trello is usually used as a project management tool for software projects, but I found it translated quite easy to "life management" :)
Trello - Trello is now my daily task/life-management app using the GTD philosophy.
After YEARS of trying task lists, reminders, etc., nothing comes close to Trello for that.
Use a Trello board, one day per column and you should be fine. I use this to do my shopping list and plan daily meals.
Did you consider a Trello app for your phone?
I've been using this for a while on Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.trello
It's usable for me. Most of my complaints are more about my phone than about the app. My phone's screen isn't the three - monitor setup I have on my desk.
Check out trello. I know that this isn't a notes app per se but it can be used like one. Highly customizable and free with a web version. You will know what I mean once you go through their initial tutorial.
Trello best thing ive found so far :D
If you have an iphone, maybe try omnifocus. The only reason id get an iPhone after this android and its a big one.
Most of the stuff I do is already mentioned. I'll emphasize the following:
For learning material: - Sleep; consistently 7-9 hours and especially before tests - Rewriting notes is very helpful, rewrite (by hand on paper) them until you can explain the material to someone else - Generally talking through material with others
For test taking: - 80-100 mg caffeine (~1 cup of coffee) before a test. I don't like coffee so I usually drink a V8 energy. - Practice tests and practice problems. As many as you can get your hands on.
Something else that I think goes hand in hand with studying is task management and I haven't seen it mentioned here. I use Trello and Google Calendar. It's not for everyone, but once you learn how to use it, it's super useful.

Get it on mobile and PC/Mac then use one board for your personal assignments.
I'm using trello app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.trello) for my projects, this app has a kanban template to get shits done ;), I also use pomello (http://pomelloapp.com/) (trello extension for chrome), a very useful extension that combines trello with pomodoro.
Trello may be helpful for this. It's an app for lists but you can share your board and your friends can edit the same board. People can "check-in" by either tagging it with their appropriate color or if you make a checklist, everyday your friends would check off the task if they completed it. To look at progress, you could use Google sheets - it's like excel but you can share it or make it public. Actually, depending on your knowledge of excel or Google sheets, you could skip trello or any other app and just use Google sheets. You can use it for everything you need for your group goals. I could possibly make the sheet for your group if you'd like (I do it for fun...).
tl;dr: Trello + Google sheets, or just Google sheets
springpad was great for this, unfortunately it died some months ago :c
you could try trello? not sure if it's what you're looking for 100% though
edit: Hightrack!!!
I think Trello would be what you are looking for after you set it up to your liking.
Maybe the free version of Wrike? As far as I know it supports all your wanted features, but I'm not sure since I got the premium version from my school. It has an app and a website.
Also I think trellis should fit your needs also, has also an app and a website.
Based on experience (which isn't that much, just had one group project of a school semester in both) I would say trello is better, if you choose the free version
I can suggest you another one, Trello: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.trello
Might be a bit more generic, but Trello may be your friend. I use it for all kind of organisation and could not go without it anymore.
You could try Trello! It's an organization app that is column/card based.
<strong>Website</strong> | <strong>Android app</strong> | <strong>iOS app</strong>
Keep in mind that if you used it a long time ago, a lot of these UIs have changed significantly.
From there hopefully you can just look through the similar apps and maybe come across what you are looking for.
*For a recommendation that would sync with Google Calendar, maybe GTasks
This should help then ;)

Trello is a must have for getting things done. Love the web app, so have to recommend the android app too :)
I use Trello. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.trello

It's not a party planning app exactly, but Trello is great for planning, organizing and creating tasks.
Trello. Thats very useful and a crossplatform.
Trello, perhaps?
Trello maybe? I've used it a bit, but not extensively.
Trello is great for to-do lists and taking notes.
