Right now it has an aftermarket exhaust (You can see it in the last picture with the saddlebags on it, probably took 40 pounds off the bike just changing those). It has also been remapped which made an unbelievable difference. I know bikes tend to come lean from the manufacturer but this one seemed way lean. Can't say how much changing that map made a difference. A couple weeks ago what they call the "pod" kit came in. I'll probably do it over the winter but when it's done it will look something like this guys. Then I'll remap it again. http://imgur.com/DrVyCkr
With this app, my phone and a 12 buck cable I can do just about anything with the bikes computer I want. Change the rev limiter, uncap the manufacturers top end speed, change when radiator fan kicks on. Things like that. Also, there are guys much smarter then me who make custom maps on the triumph boards with that program. They pretty much have any map already made for whatever you can or would change on the bike. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tuneecu&hl=en
I recently did the 6000 mile service on mine, was pretty simple.
Here is a check off list
The youtube videos by thesussexbiker are very helpful, he does do some things like the swingarm bearings which go beyond the service requirements.
Regarding tools;
you will need a suitable sparkplug socket [I needed a cheap magnet-on-a-stick to lift the sparkplugs out].
I needed a strapwrench to get the oil filter off.
To balance the throttle bodies you will need to be able to plug into the diagnostic port, I used a cheap ELM32 bluetooth adapter and the TuneECU app, mine didn't need any adjustment.
Good Luck
