You tried Via yet? It's like a super efficient version of Uber Pool, as it's corner to corner pickups / dropoffs vs Door to door. Keeps everything moving so fast, and it's usually under $7 for anywhere below 120th Street within Manhattan!

The app is called Via, and it's been in operation since 2019. It's free to use, but the catch is that one of of your endpoints has to be a Metro Rail stop that's on the edge of the system. I've used it a bunch and it's excellent.

When a tracker is down, it's essential to report it, or they don't know. I call them all the time.

If my bus doesn't come, I take a shared Lyft and ask those at the bus stop with me if they'd like to join.
At the ends of the Metro subway, there's now Via rideshare -- download the app on iOS or Google Play -- works like Lyft / Uber, but it's subsidized by the city, and as a pilot program, right now it's free!
Hey u/Drew3881, welcome and great to have you in the Dallas Area.
While there are no direct public transit options to get you from downtown to Globe Life Park, I would recommend the following if you have the time and want to minimize your cost of getting to the ballpark:
There used to be a public transit bus, the MAX Express, in Arlington that would run from CentrePort/DFW Station to the Globe Life Park/Six Flags Over Texas area. However, the program was shut down at the end of 2017 and replaced with a ride-share program through a partnership with the Via ride-sharing app. You can download the app on iOS or Android. If you don't have access to the app, you can book a ride with Via by calling 817-784-7382.
I have never personally used the Via ride-sharing program. The downside is that it is only offered from 6:00am - 9:00pm Monday - Friday and from 9:00am - 9:00pm on Saturdays. So if you're planning on going to the Rangers v Orioles games this weekend, you'll have to use another ride-share program(Uber/Lyft) to get back to CentrePort/DFW Airport Station.
Reasons I take Metro!
PSA for LA Metro users:
Download Via App for iOS or Via App for Android -- free rideshare from many Metro stations
and
Download Transit App for iOS or Transit App for Android -- real-time bus/train arrival info and a sweet GUI.
