It's a re-branded version of the Boxer email app. Aside from the Cyanogen branding, it has material design. The point is to distance Cyanogen OS from Google.
I don't use MailWise, but I think it needs to support Android Wear "intents" in order to provide these features. Currently they do not seem to have any Wear support. I've seen recommendations for Boxer and Nine as Android mail clients that provide both Exchange and Wear support (at least as paid options).
If I remember correctly, the OPO used boxer
I'll avoid apps most people will suggest (launchers, greenify, xposed, adaway, etc.):
Boxer: An email client I've been using for a while, works wonders, but to use more than one email and/or exchange accounts you need the pro version.
Flud: BitTorrent client, the best one I've used on Android. It comes with a native search option that is very good.
MyPlayer++: Simple, lightweigth, pretty music player. The MyPlayer++ is on beta, but offers more customization than the MyPlayer app. I've personally have not had any problem with it.
PodcastAddict: Podcast manager that I've been using for a while now. The thing that really got me was the scheduler of downloads, as for the most part is as any other podcast manager.
gReader: A feed reader that allows me to read articles on the go even without internet connection. It syncs with feedly.
MiXplorer: There's no file manager on the playstore that has nearly as many options as MiXplorer offers.
Socialife: I use it more because of the widget than for the unified timeline of Twitter, Facebook and RSS feeds.
I thought Boxer is available to all Android users (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.boxer.email)? Or does COS12 have a tailored version?
Reviews have it at 3.8 stars, which is alright, but not great.
