The game is called Xenophyte. It has elements of a strategy game with an overland map. There are also elements of an adventure / stealth game when in the field. Finally there is an educational component with fairly basic plant identification for plants you may collect in the field. The game is turned based but will play about as fast or slow as you want. The setting is scifi on a distant seed world. Basically my attempt to bring something different to the tablet market.

Short Description
Xenophyte is a content rich turn based scifi adventure/strategy game. The primary goal is to collect plants, identify plants, and capture malfunctioning droids. This must be done before the biosphere collapses and before all the settlements are destroyed.
Description
The overworld map requires decisions such as which event to deal with and which settlements to build infrastructure within.
Presentation of the collection game is like a board game. Use of cover allows your droid to sneak around the map while collecting resources and laying down traps. Every tile on the map has a use.
The collection component of the game includes laser firing droids which may start fires, angry mobs, goo that leaves sticky pools, slogs that leave slippery pools, tracker droids that follow your tracks, bugs that will smell you if you wait, and many others.
A single seed world game can play as quickly as 60 mins in a speed run. Replay value comes in the form of random world and collection maps. Life forms can be scanned with more details revealed with each scan. Relics can also be found and collected. Both life form data and relics persist between games. There is also a score system.
There is a informational component to Xenophyte. All the plants in the game are real world plants and must be identified using real world plant attributes. The identification process is presented as a process of elimination game. Plants for each game are randomized. Plant attributes also come in useful for unlocking phase boxes (like a treasure chest). Historic medical uses of plants are also used to aid settlements.
