I have a Bravia TV as well, but the store says it is incompatible with my TV. Is this the app from the Google Play store you installed? [link]
This doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
For some reason, there are two YouTube TV apps listed. Based on the devices I have available to install them to:
This appears to be standard Android
This appears to be for Android TV
Yet they both say a minimum of Android 5.0+ is required. With the Nebula having (at least beta) firmware with Google Play Services, what else is stopping it? It can't be GPS because my Gemini PDA and NVIDIA Shields can install it (covers both Android and Android TV). Maybe screen resolution?
IIRC, you had to use a specific search phrase when searching via the Play Store app on my Shield. Like, for some reason a search for "youtube" would return a different set of results from "youtube tv". I think YT TV only showed up in one of those.
Better to just to get on a PC and install it via the web.
Even more confusing, they have two different entries for phones and Android TV instead of a single APK.
This reminds me of this review on the YouTube TV app. So much facepalm. Google doesn't inject the ads, they are from the networks.
I couldn't install the app at the link above, but this version works for me.
Fox News is part of the You Tube TV lineup. There is a You Tube TV app for the Shield.

No, you just install the YouTube TV app from the Google Play Store.
