Those are floating calipers , Akebonos are fixed . You probably got power stop remanufactured ones but base model calipers lol or they send you the wrong ones this are the ones I bought for mine Akebonos
The most beneficial part of that package is the Test Pipes, which look EXACTLY like the ones I bought off of Amazon from TunerBits for $100 free shipping. Don't get me wrong, I love Z1's products and their support is top notch, but for $1600 you can get a full exhaust kit+test pipes elsewhere and have similar performance gain. Note that the Dyno chart they show has all of the parts from the kit INCLUDING a Tomei CBE and most likely a tune. So tack on another grand, easily.
The modified upper plenum will not have much of an impact until you also modify the Lower plenum to match, otherwise the bottleneck is still there.
What I did for my Z was get a Replica kit from Amazon (DNA Motoring kit) since I'm just gonna bang it on speedbumps and back up into curbs. There was some fitment issues but overall the construction was very impressive for sub $400 and I love the sound. As well as a cheap pair of test pipes, because in reality its just a 2.5" diameter tube with a 45 degree bend. I got Stillen's Gen3 intake on sale for about $500, and I'm currently waiting on a slot at my local speed shop to get a dyno tune for $600. That's totaling $1600 with more value. The stock headers on the Z were crafted with performance in mind from Nissan so I would not expect any more than 5 HP gain over OEM unless you go Long Tube, but that's a whole 'nother story. Oh and good luck swapping them out without pulling the motor!
I got a mount that screws in where the tow hook goes. I think it looks great. Might be better than getting harassed by the cops.
I got it from fromAmazon
I just ended up finding some random ones on Amazon. These look pretty cool
Topsmart Carbon Fiber Car Steering Wheel Shift Blade Paddle Shifter Extension Compatible for Mustang (black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JFXHLRP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_QZK9KY509958PR3CA6TM
And here’s the ones I got which are alright, but I’d probably try something else a little shinier lol, though these are nice because they slide over instead of the double sided tape to rely on. Though I’d imagine that tape is pretty strong.
Onyx Composite Extended Paddle Shifters for Nissan/Infinity (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZHQK6TP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_541SV80TN2W49EDRBBAQ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
This is the one I got. - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00J21TNTW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
$13 and it just replaces the left license plate light, easy install. Video quality isn't anything special, but it does the job.
Ark Grip V2 Replica kit from Amazon and Tunerbits Test Pipes with a J-bung for the o2 sensor. No codes and a nice rumble at low speeds but still SCREAMS when wide open throttle.
CBE: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TY3ALLW
Test Pipes: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IS2OF7K
Total under $500 and the fitment was 8/10 on the CBE, 7/10 on the test pipes. I had to use a drill to widen one of the bolt slots on the Test Pipes for the Y-Pipe to fit properly.
Here’s the link to the 3m
Double Sided Tape, HitLights 3M... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TC16SZ7?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It’s a lot bit thicker but I put it on the existing 3m it came with but before I put the new 3m on I warmed up the metal plate to make sure it bonded together
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01J7CC6FS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I’d recommend these blind spot mirrors, they are slick and will come in handy. Oil cooler is a must if you’re interested in track or spirited driving as the autos run hot. Good brakes too.
I bought the one in the link below off amazon for $13. It hooks up to your touch screen radio, and the camera itself replaces one of the covers for your license plate light, but it doesnt redder your license plate light useless.
I haven’t installed it yet so i cant review on the picture quality of it. But it does have 4.5 stars on amazon
Yes, I have pioneer 4600nex..looks like they upped the price since I bought like a year and half ago but it's been great. It's wireless carplay and I have never had any issues with it.

https://www.amazon.com/DMH-W4600NEX-6-8-Inches-Multimedia-Bluetooth-Receiver/dp/B08BL71NXM
I like this style. carbon fiber one
After you get a wheel, adapter, and hub, you're looking at almost the same price.
These are not the correct sizes to our car but it looks the same lugs as the ones you have
Changing the head unit will not effect the back up camera. Mine is still working.
Mine's a 2012 so I used this to retain steering wheel control
yes i do; https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B099DVR6SV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
before you immediately pull the trigger i would kindly reccomend looking at the other setups similar to this out there just incase theres a better deal. i have had 0 issues with this though and quite enjoy it. even has a usb on the side for my passenger to plug in and charge!
This is the one I have used for quite a while now. Be warned, it takes some getting used to though but has never once failed. Definitely recommend a dash cam of some sort.
Pretty sure its this one, Im not 100% sure but it has all the same features.
Its the wrong kind, you need this: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BU59SAQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
[Bridgestone RE980AS on sale](www.amazon.com/dp/B07NZ6VB5Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_GND3WRBX5WGK5TRRJTNF?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1)
These fit stock sport rear wheel specs and we’re on sale on Amazon (normally around $275 I think). I just got them put on and they’re great.
If I had the extra money I would run Michelin 4S though.
If you need to just replace a bolt a 3/8ths will fit fine.
This is a handy little tool to keep in the garage.

That dash looks pretty dry. Are you conditioning the plastic every 6 months or so?
The product I use for all my cars is this: https://www.amazon.com/303-30313-CSR-Protectant-Plastic-Fiberglass/dp/B00KN0UOEE
I like to keep the plastic parts supple at all times.
Also, I always use a sunshade when parked outside, even if it’s just for 10 minutes or so.
No idea if the above is going help, but this is what I use on my vehicles and I’ve never had problems (I live in south Florida).
Here's a replacement for the factory plastic piece that failed. I highly recommend the metal connector.
I just did this repair myself awhile ago. It's a PITA. Had to cut the clamp off on the engine side with a Dremel flex drive shaft.
I replaced everything with all new clamps and heater hose plus metal connector.
You can order the parts from Nissan Directly:
92401-JK20A (firewall/inner hose) 92400-JK200 (engine/outer hose W/factory connector) 92527-7990B (Heater hose clamp)
Thanks man. It's a strap from Takata and a tow hook kit from Amazon I combined. It's the tow screw setup from this:

Perfect fitment, and surprisingly decent build quality for something so cheap.
I just googled blind spot mirror and this pops up.

I recently got this one, and can't recommend it enough. 4k front, 1080p rear, clear audio even with music bumping and the window cracked. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08DV51H2X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Here's a sample : https://streamable.com/o0uimc
I went with the Blueskysea. It was great for a little over 2 years, it’s beginning to lose date format though. 1080p quality too!
It turns on whenever you have the car running. It takes an internal micro sd card, up to 256gb. Here's the link to it on amazon if you want : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08DV51H2X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Peel & Seal Aluminum water proofing tape is the Home Depot alternative. About 1 dollar per square foot, comes on a 6"x25' roll.
Kilmat is a competitor to Dynamat, and is about 1.5 dollars per square foot.
Noico is another and costs about 2 dollars per square foot
Dynamat itself costs 3.5 dollars per square foot.
I just found one on Amazon called Siless Liner which is 4mm thick instead of the average 2 to 3. And the cost isn't bad
https://www.amazon.com/Sound-Deadening-Foam-157mil-Insulation/dp/B07B75PD8B/
Basically all you had to do was Google "Dynamat Alternatives" lol
Not sure if I’m allowed to do this or if you have the time but what are your thoughts on this car? https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/2209557359079891/ It’s one I’ve been looking at for awhile now but not totally sure :/
I used these and they worked like a charm:
25 Pcs Black Adhesive Backed Nylon Wire Adjustable Cable Clips Clamps https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005MN2QHK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_K8DDMQZEWAA5N3877NK7?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I installed this one on my Z: https://www.amazon.com/70mai-Parking-Monitor-Dynamic-Android/dp/B08GFRTG4S. I was able to hide it behind the rear view mirror on the passenger side and wasn't visible when I sat in the driver's seat.
Recommend the GPS module to get speed data if you run into law enforcement. ;)
Good luck.
I've used these while car is on jack stands.
It's from Amazon and it's attached into the CD slot. The one I ordered is no longer available but this looks to be the exact same model. Hope this helps!

Rexing V1 is $20 off right now for Amazon Prime Day. I've had it over a year and it's been great. I have it stuck between the windshield and rear view mirror, so there's no visibility blocking. I don't even see it. I've pulled the footage off it a couple times and the video/audio were great.

This is what I went for, installed yesterday without a problem.
Took a while for Android Auto to work but after reading that nissan grounds through the antenna (seriously who does that) I hooked it up to the parking sensor and everything is working fine!
This is awesome! I wish I had thought to make a box that fit. I ended up buying this guy a few years back
https://www.amazon.com/Nissan-370Z-Custom-Enclosure-Subwoofer/dp/B01AKA8OLQ
It's a Zenclosure, works really well but its heavy AF. Their site is down at the time I wrote this so that's the only link I found. I wanna say it was around $200 when I bought it
It’s just a plug and play Bluetooth receiver. I have it plugged into the RCA jacks and it’s powered by the built in USB port. Everything you need right here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016NUTG5K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_R34HGCY7YDBZKSG8EK1R?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I used these led panels in the map lights and the trunk light as well as swapped the gtr clear lens for the map lights. It made a pretty big difference.
https://www.amazon.com/Stoner-Car-Care-Tarminator-Asphalt/dp/B0002LBGWI is what i use for sap. havent tried for tar yet but if it does to tar what it does to sap, its good.
I've used 'bug and tar' remover products in the past and it worked well... but I've never tried it on chunks of tar this large.
that's where I'd start, tho.
https://www.amazon.ca/Mothers-16719-Foaming-Remover-Aerosol/dp/B077YDJYMR
this is the one I used. that's not really a recommendation though, I haven't tried very many.
good luck.
It’s pretty easy, you just need an adapter (https://www.amazon.com/Metra-70-7552-Harness-2007-Up-2008-Up/dp/B000VXED54) and some wire cut/peelers. The only hard part is having to solder a wire to the wire that controls the hand brake light.
I installed the Evo-R 4th brake light with the help of a friend several months ago and has been working great since. I'd suggest to buy through a company that has them stocked as Evo-R has some horrible customer service. I got lucky with mine and ordered directly through them, although I should have looked into it more before I did. I also wanted mine to blink so i paired it with this $15 amazon blinker relay. As u/CrayZ-Z pointed out about the iJDMToys one, is that it doesn't last very long. I set mine to blink 5 times then go solid.
Btw, you always have your options, but best option for me was to wire the DRLs to my fuse box on the cigarette lighter. Good luck! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FEZEVQK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_XcUKFbFCJT4YB
I installed my kit a few weeks ago. The cruise control shouldn't have been effected, at least mine still works. Also when it comes to the accessibility controls, I actually used WS12's Brainiac launcher and its significantly easier to make quick adjustment.
As for the steering wheel controls I have yet to do anything with mine. The RcJoyCon they describe is probably going to be the route I take, but honestly their app is pretty well optimized for controls that I may not ever install it. If I do though I'll DM you how it went
Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0823QX4KF
Install guide I used: https://youtu.be/_UWWABWIqko
If you purchase this light use the wire diagram on the amazon listing to know what each wire does. The YouTube video is a different brand but same connector when it comes to installing.
Something that will help a bit would be a small cordless blower. I'm not sure what cheaper options there are but Makita makes a small blower that would help remove a bunch of the trapped water.
https://www.amazon.com/Makita-DUB182Z-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-Blower/dp/B00NLXXQXQ
That is about double what you can find the tool only for and I only linked it as an example. But something like that would help out.
https://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-Smooth-Surface-Clay-Kit/dp/B00063X7KG
That one has good ratings, but id suggest watching a bunch of you tube videos before purchasing, and especially before using it.
I installed this with the GPS module: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B083VXLZZ6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Cheap ($58), small, discrete and has great features. Wired it to the 12V outlet under the glove compartment and mounted on the passenger side of the windshield behind the mirror. I can't even see it when driving. Wires are also completely hidden behind the trim.
Awesome! Did you use a cable like this to do RCA > AUX before plugging into that receiver?
This is so much cheaper than the Bovee I was looking at, thank you for sending it my way.
Hey, exact situation here. The 2009 touring has Bluetooth, but it can't be used for music.
I converted the RCA input to AUX and ran that into a Bluetooth receiver. It automatically powers on via the 12V socket in the storage panel, so it's as if your car has Bluetooth that you never have to touch. Sounds great.
Here's the one I used, but there are plenty to choose from.
Yeah. Here's the one I have for comparison. Obviously make sure to get the right thread size... Mine also replaced my nismo knob.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MQ8MCQD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_W6hrFbACSGWFF
So then which tablet did you go with that fit this bezzel? I ordered the kit a little over a month ago and only installed it last week, I did not see this as an option and it only listed the Samsung Galaxy Tab A SM-T585 (Amazon)
I got it off Amazon! I wish it was a brighter red though, but it works for me lol. Here’s the link -> Xotic Tech JDM Sport Racing Style... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075MVR5GR?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Amazon! https://www.amazon.com/iJDMTOY-Tow-License-Mounting-Infiniti/dp/B07FSQVZY2
Only ~ $20, the build quality is pretty decent. I added some adhesive between the plate frame and the tow hook attachment to ensure it wouldn’t spin. Hasn’t flow off on the freeway yet!
There are tons of those all over the front of the car and they break pretty often. It's probably one that holds the undertray on.
Grab a bag of replacements off amazon
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QWKQC9G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_7Pa-DbCSNV48Q
I thought this was the best kit. The twinkle feature makes them always look like they are different sizes because of a rotating plate that blocks some light for some holes. The different sizes of strands don't matter as much because only about 30 of the 380 are the larger ones and they really don't look much different.
Here is the one I get for all my cars, I even have an extra for rental cars when I travel. I've tried a handful of others the magnets aren't strong, they don't hold onto the car well or the build quality is junk. This has none of those problems.
Magnetic Phone Car Mount, WizGear Universal Twist-Lock Air Vent Magnetic Car Mount Holder, for Cell Phones with Fast Swift-snap Technology https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077MTNV41/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_tPEGDb2TWFZEP
Here's mine after hooked up. With the light there are two lines/wires. One is a non-stop flashing light once brake is applied, and the other is a constant brake light when brake applied. I wired this relay to the solid line so it would blink 4 times and then go solid.
yep on double din kit. I skipped the steering wheel controls so I cant help you with the pigtail question.
I want to say this is the DD the kit I bought: https://www.amazon.com/SCOSCHE-NN1665B-2009-Up-Nissan-Install/dp/B0041RAYLI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1545364787&sr=8-3&keywords=370z+double+din
I have little super wide mirror add-ons stuck to my side mirrors. Driving a Z without them is difficult. They're similar to these- https://www.amazon.com/Jisoncase-Universal-Vehicle-Rotatable-Adjustable/dp/B07DGVQ7KH/ref=sr_1_72?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1538837783&sr=1-72&keywords=wide+angle+side+mirror
You can buy a 20$ kit from any car part store usually has different levels of sand paper grit and a polish and takes around an hour and your headlight will look like brand new once done.. just did mine. I used this onehttps://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-G2980-Heavy-Headlight-Restoration/dp/B01M2D763D/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1537212493&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=meguiars+headlight+restoration+kit&dpPl=1&dpID=51bAUJSl45L&ref=plSrch
Installed THIS Kenwood eXcelon DDX594 6.2" DVD Receiver with Bluetooth and HD Radio
With back up camera and cables to still keep steering wheel controls. Plus new door speakers because I blast the radio and don’t want to blow out the cheap door speakers from the factory.
I have a $300 kit from Amazon that is fucking fantastic for the price and a pair of regular $100 test pipes. The combination of that kit and no cats is incredible. When cruising around town <3k RPM it's timid and deep sounding but as soon as the pedal hits the floor it sounds like a banshee.
For the kit that I have the only part that scrapes would be the bottom of the muffler cans, and it only hits on curbs if I back up a bit too far.
Not only is my exhaust very loud, I removed my front license plate the day I bought the car and I have yet to be pulled over a year later. I live in Oregon which requires front plates but I guess the police in my area don't care, or they let me slide because it looks 10x better.

Blinking circuit: http://www.kahtec.com/products.htm
And there's a DIY guide on the370z forum that you can follow, it's pretty simple but tedious.
I also use Mobil 1 5W-30, but I use Purolator PL14610 PureONE Oil Filters. They're a little longer than stock, but I like them.
And I definitely recommend getting a magnetic drain plug.
She's a beauty! Hope it's manual! Anyways, I don't know much about the side markers, as for the rear fog light, I'll link the one I have, but I really like mine, it's smoked so you can't really see it unless the lights are actually on, and in the center of it there are white LEDs you can wire up to your reverse lights to provide more light.
I haven't actually put mine in yet, but I plan on tapping into the wires that run to my tail lights rather than buy that wiring harness and such.
Careful about modding this car, because once you start it's hard to stop lol. And it gets expensive real quick. Also I'd say one of the best first mods is an exhaust!

It's heavy duty, and I really like it. The foam in this shot isn't all that great - but it's because I chose to really just get it soaking to get the grime off. Plus, I use chemical guy's which is probably the best around (IMHO) but isn't quite as snowy as others I've used.
