Yes, moisturizers do work. The skin on the back of my hands dries out in the winter and using a moisturizer semi-regularly in wintertime saves me from a lot of discomfort. Moisturized skin does feel different than unmoisturized skin but if your hands feel greasy after like 2 minutes you should try a different moisturizer. The product I use is a very common one I can find in pretty much any store where I live so nothing fancy.
