> CharJen AirFoams
I didn't have a fit problem, but I ended up with the CharJenPro Memory Foam Ear Tips for AirPods Pro w/Silicone Shield and I love them. The are the same foam, but have a silicon covering.
Elago Ear Hooks - I have these, and wear them w/ my pros for outdoor cycling. They are comfortable and keep the pros secure.
Two solid options are Spinfit (https://www.amazon.com/SpinFit-CP1025-Apple-Airpods-Pro/dp/B08CDMDW7V) and AZLA (https://www.amazon.com/AZLA-SednaEarfit-Crystal-AirPods-Pairs/dp/B0928LV4YD)
Note that these two brands are frequently used by audiophiles on many earbuds for years.
I find both to be much more comfortable than the stock tips. Also, they fit more snug because the material molds to your ear shape better. My favorite and recommendation would be the AZLA tips since they improve on ANC quality as well.
Foam tips definitely help. Another solution if you really need them to stay snug is silicone hooks. I wear these when I’m doing anything outdoors: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0837G66Q5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_ykhcMKOq3E6ux
Comfort can vary from person to person because everyone’s ears are different in shape. Apple gives you 3 pairs of different size ear tips, so give each size a try. For me, I found that the Medium was too big and kept slipping off after 15 minutes. Small was a snug fit but it did get uncomfortable to keep them on for awhile. There’s 3rd party options like the Comply Foam 2.0 Ear Tips which I bought awhile ago and used them ever since because they’re very comfortable for long use and slightly better ANC. You can search on Amazon for different options for ear tips if Apple’s ear tips aren’t too comfortable for you.
I went through a couple of cases and had the same problem you do. I ended up with this which so far has been the only good locking solution I’ve found. It’s not a hard case but it keeps my airpods closed.
Have you tried using a different type of ear tip? I use Comply's Foam Apple AirPods Pro 2.0 Earbud Tips, and they work much better but at a price. It does offer a better fit because it's memory foam compared to Apple's silicon tips. (I got them when they were discounted for $20 at Amazon).
Azla sedna’s, they’re expensive but they’ve solved literally all of my fit problems with the APP, have also tried Spinfits and they didn’t work for me.
Really, really happy with them and I’m rarely happy with anything.

Try these! AZLA SednaEarfit Crystal for AirPods Pro https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0928LYKDG
These worked really well for me. Better than foam tips since they last way longer and you can clean them easier.
Try these! https://www.amazon.com/AZLA-SednaEarfit-XELASTEC-Airpods-Pairs/dp/B08DRZ7FM6
These are made of some fancy material that reacts and gets "stickier" when placed in your ear (due to your body temperature). They stick so well you actually have to tug them a bit to get them off your ear!
Ear hooks. I use these: Proof labs AirPods Pro ear hooks
I am not in any way affiliated with them except I'm a very happy customer.
Ordered 2 boxes last year when we got our APPs and my wife and I are still on our first pair of ear hooks out of 3 per box.
They fit like a charm, I forget that they're in, and I no longer have the distraction or dread of having an AirPod pop out.
It helps that I had saved a pair of ear hooks from my monster immersion earbuds years ago to use with the AirPod first gens and so I quickly learned how great they are.
I do high impact sports (running, HIIT, etc) as well as lots of movement for building our business, and even smiling or making the wrong face would pop an APP out of my ears (or both would, it was horribly annoying).
There are other threads in this sub where people recommend their favorite solution but this is what I recommend.
The only downside:
You have to remember to put them on when you take the APPs out of their case and take them off before you put them back in to charge. This really isn't different than other solutions (except the foam tips, which seem to work well for some people) and I found that it simply becomes a routine habit that I don't have to think about yet still do.
Good luck!
(Again, I only endorse these because they work really well for me and I'm pretty happy with them. Maybe one day proof labs will hook me up with some referral $$$ because I share their product with people. Until then, I'll be a happy customer and advocate for something that works well.)
Also try Comply memory foam tips. . They really expand after you squish them and put in your ears to form a tight seal.
I have the foam masters. Once you know your size you can order 3 pairs in that size..

I could never go back to silicone tips.
I got them when they were on sale at the time (Nov 2020). At the moment Amazon.com is selling them for $199.99 (£145.85).

Great! Glad it worked well for you.
A quick note: I felt like the small metal o-ring that connects the belt clip to the case seems like it could come loose easily so I replaced that with a small keychain ring just for added peace of mind.

The price is kinda steep on this one, but I really like it. Gives me grip and most importantly doesn’t add bulk incase
I use this one. It helps small drop and prevents scratching.
I recommend avoiding silicone if you put them in your pocket, because they pick up a lot of lint
Not sure if anyone is still monitoring this, but you can preorder these tips on Amazon. Looks like they ship on 8/10. The only sizes I saw were M and ML. I ordered the ML which could be perfect. The apple size M feels small and doesn’t create a great seal but the size L feel like they’re going to fall out.

Same deal, when I would yawn they would pop out.
Perhaps a leather-type case similar to this? Although this is for the first gen pros, this type of material might be what you’re looking for and want to keep an eye out for since there’s not many case options out there yet for the second gens
If you can’t find anything, a cheap solution could be a small plastic baggie.

Work great, comfortable, and cheap. I tried different tips and they still came out after a while of running (though not as often as the stock ones!)
I just found & ordered these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/AirPods-Earbuds-Replacement-XS-Silicone/dp/B09ZQPZHP7/
The product info says they are few millimeters smaller than the S tips. We'll see if that makes any difference.
Gotcha. I owned the real deal until I unfortunately lost them. Awesome headphones! So clean sounding! It’s just it’s not possible to sell someone $250 headphones for under $200 and make a profit. Either stolen or fake.
Give these a try. Especially if you like low bass. Actually a incredible deal. Waiting for AirPods Pro 2 so I bought this one for now.

The only solution for me was getting aftermarket tips. Foam works for me, but these work better with my oily skin. I still clean my ears and the tips every time I wear them. I only I have to touch them is when I need to take them out to charge. They pass the eating test too.
I have always wanted a way to use my Airpods Pro on flights with their in-flight entertainment system and not have to only watch what's on my personal device. Used this AirFly Duo adapter on my recent international flight with KLM and it worked flawlessly. You simply connect it to the in-flight system using the 3.5mm aux port, pair it to your airpods (should also work with any other bluetooth wireless buds - haven't tried it) and voila! The adapter takes charges via USB-C and had no issues with battery keeping up for about 8hrs
Lanwow Premium Memory Foam Tips... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B087NY9T66?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Bought 11 months ago. Around the 4th month the foam came apart from the core. I’ve probably super glued it back on 2/3 times since because I’m cheap to buy new foam tips and they do look pretty bad now after the lid squished the countless times. Maybe look into a better alternative but since you asked, these are the ones I bought.
I would 100% recommend foam over silicone still.
AirPods Max*
There is no Pro Max in the AirPod lineup.
This was the only one I came across. It's cheap so milage may vary. It says its MFI certified but who knows.
No, you can keep them on. They’re just a foam top as opposed to the Apple silicone one. Essentially the same size overall. The ones with the silicone ear hooks are horrible because of that reason. Don’t buy those. Also, since I’ve last posted here quite awhile ago I’ve purchased another type of tip made by Azla. Size wise they recommended doing size for size, i.e. if you wear the L Apple ear tip, you’d buy the Azla size large. However I found this false. I bought the three pack, right here: they’re 20% off right now too. They’re made of a really sticky clear silicone/pvc material that are nothing like anything else I’ve tried. Amazing for either, those or the Comply. Good luck.
Eh! I have this problem too. What I did was buying some ear hooks and solved my problem. Been wearing them for more than 3 years and so far so good. I have this case in black since 2020(since I bought my APP). It is a cheap, but awesome quality case. Simple, not flashy. The case is thick enough to provide protection(not heavy duty case though, but they are chunky anyways), but not too thick so it slides in your pocket easily.
I had doubts when first time I found it but it is just 9£. If you won’t like it you still didn’t loose much money.

The thing is all ears are different. They aren’t even the same on the same person. So we can’t answer this for you. You’re just going to have to try different tips until you find some that fit your ears. And sometimes that can mean wearing a different size in each ear. But I suggest trying these tips. I had been using the Comply tips, but these are so much better. These tips run a bit big so I suggest getting the variety pack. I got the SS/S/MS and the MS/M/ML because in the Comply tips I wore a medium. That’s the first time I’ve ever used medium tips. But on every other pair of earphones not AirPods Pro I wore small tip both in silicone and foam. So I didn’t know where to start so I covered all my bases by getting both sets. I’m use MS.
It’s not foam, but after trying so many, this is the one I like and it works very well. (No discomfort)

Indeed, I’m sure why people are still buying from the “street.” Especially since places like Amazon.com are selling for a huge discounted price.

You have to get one of the thin silicone cases, really they're more like "covers". The hard cases are too thick. The thing with the silicone cases is often times the fit is a little off, like it won't line up perfectly the way you want, especially on the lid edges. Silicone ones are also crazy dust magnets, but hey...you take the good with the bad I guess just like anything else. And any cover is going to make the magnetic hold a little weaker, but it'll still work of it's thin enough. I got this one well reviewed online from Amazon (read reviews from actual websites first, not on Amazon). The lid fit leaves a little to be desired, but I think it looks pretty dope and it definitely connects and holds on my Magsafe charger. Not saying this is like definitely the one to buy, but I'm mostly happy with it.

The foam tips did work, but they were not much better than the silicon tips. I recently bought these which we’re yet another £20, however they work very well. They mould to your ears as they warm, which means they should be a perfect fit. In fact, I found that because you’re not constantly adjusting the AirPods, you don’t get sore ear canals from the constant pushing and twisting. As for the size, I used the M silicon and foam tips and got the M in these. Try them. It’s just a shame we have to spend yet more money.

It’s ok, it’s holding the AirTag in place and it’s saved me losing it easily hundreds of times by now. The only drawback is that it’s a bit clunky, but I don’t think there’s a way round that unless you got a normal case and attached an AirTag keyring to it.

I mean, I’m not expert, but I always sort of twisted my APP into my ears and then read an article awhile back saying that’s how you should put them in. It wasn’t anything official from Apple or anything. Everyone’s ears are different, but just sort of twist them in and see what works best. I’ve been playing with the new AP3 for a week or so now trying for the best fit. I use the medium size tips on my APP. I will admit though that the Apple silicone tips don’t hold near as well as these… https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08D8NY25S?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

The ear hook things probably won't keep your airpods sealed perfectly but might help them from falling out.
Mine come loose if I am chewing or talking loudly unfortunately. I've had some luck by putting them in normally then, while pushing inward on the part that's in your ear with my index finger, rotate the stem forward with my thumb to twist them in place for a better seel.
Probably too late to be useful, but I bought this case last week after leaving my AirPods earbuds in a hotel room. (I think I dropped the original AirPod case, and the earbuds flew out but the case snapped shut again so I didn’t notice.)

Sure, click here. These were the foam tips I bought, took a day to get used to but after that they fit nicely, I got the grey ones if you want black ones just school down and select your colour I think.
Foam tips wear out in about 2 months. Perhaps sooner if you use them a lot. Foam also gets softer the warmer they get and they will stiffen up when cooler. But after awhile the foam just wears out. That’s why most manufacturers use silicone. Silicone lasts longer than foam. There is a brand that has a combo of silicone and foam. CharJenPro Tips

Oh nice. Yeah I’ve heard of the Comply tips, I just wasn’t sure on how i felt about the foam tips. I saw these on Amazon, the AZLA Ear Tips that have pretty good ratings. I just needed to do more research on these.
I had the same issue and went to the Apple support forum for suggestions. Literally hundreds of people recommended a specific memory foam tip from Amazon. Skeptical, I ordered them anyway. They’ve been the best thing to ever happen to me. Here’s a link, Comply foam Apple AirPods Pro earbud tips At first I got the assorted, has a small medium and large. Afterwards, I ended up just buying a medium 3 pack.
I use these for my Galaxy Buds+ and Airpods Pro. Spigen Rugged Armor.Spigen Rugged Armor
I got these .. and they are the best of both worlds. They are foam tips with a silicon cover. They have the benefit of form fit w/ the grip of silicon. They fit well and pass the fit test.
Highly recommend these! https://www.amazon.com/AZLA-SednaEarfit-XELASTEC-Airpods-Pairs/dp/B08DRZ7FM6
They are made of a special material that reacts to body heat when placed in your ear. The material sticks to your inner ear skin and for me it never comes out. The advantage of these over foam tips is they don't wear out as fast and you can rinse them with water to clean.
As others have stated I would go for foam specifically the comply 2.0 assorted pack
I’ve seen it done, someone did that for these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0844WPDY5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_AE4F1YJSST1KV6EBY4Q8
If you go to the customer review pics, you’ll see it. And based on that x ray, it looks like not much is in the top part, especially on the sides.
I like the suggestion but I have a big head and too much hair for beanies lol, and prob won’t wear a head band. I’m gonna see if I can try this...or I could use a Velcro strap to try and hold it together lol
I also bought a cheap silicone cover for the case. I found the case plastic to be slippery as anything. The silicone has helped a lot. Here is the link to the case I purchased: BRG Compatible with Airpods Pro... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZZG8DH7?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I hate rubber/silicone cases because they get stuck in pockets and always attract lint and dust etc.
I prefer a hard plastic one.
I have this onecase and it doesn’t fall off and it doesn’t interfere with wireless charging.
My wife and I have been using these for a year very happily:
We are in no way related to that seller.
They are convenient and easy to clean. Plus, each box comes with 3 pairs.*
I do high impact exercises with those and my APPs don't fall out.
These have been crucial because before getting them, my wife's APPs fell out into the cement we were pouring into our startup facility's foundation. We got lucky to get them out and cleaned up quickly enough that there was no obvious issue (and they've been fine for a year since).
For me, I absolutely hate the feeling of an earbud falling out. The Pod style never fit my ears and so I had saved similar ear adapters from my monster immersion earbuds. I still use those adapters on my AirPod first gens (which still can run about 45 min while my APPs charge so that I don't have to stop listening to the audiobook or podcast I'm enjoying while working).
* As a materials scientist and engineer who worked with silicones for my graduate research, those adapters are a couple cents of silicone. The mold, form factor, convenience, and comfort are why I happily pay premium for them.
If you get them, let me know how they work out. I'm still using the first pair out of the box with 2 spare pairs in case anything happens. (Oh, my wife accidentally leaves hers in her pocket often enough that they've been through the laundry several times and are still good).
I really recommend this...Good price, great build quality and magnetic, so stays fucking closed when you drop it, so the pods don't go flying. And they do go flying, as I found out with my first case.

I have the black one and it does pick up some lint/dust if you put it in your pocket or leave it out for a while, but I think it looks good regardless.
I ordered the AirPod pros direct from apple store. I added the 3rd party tips, the one on the right is partially ripped off I’ll be adding a new tip soon after I cut off the renaming piece.

Maybe the part that came out is metal mesh and not paper.

Are you sure? Maybe the part that came out is metal mesh and not paper.

You definitely want to get an official cable or something MFi certified.
Oh! I just remembered.
You can use one of these and plug the USB C included into it. I use one for my car. It works great
Not OP, but I just went looking and it looks like this one. I hope so, anyway, because I just bought one.
Check Amazon.ca it’s still cheaper there.
It took me a while to find the right fit. There's a company that sells between sizes, extra small, between small and medium, medium, between medium and large, large, and extra large. They may help find the right fit
AZLA SednaEarfit XELASTEC for Airpods Pro / 2 Pairs (Size SS) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08DTVXCZ3/ref=cm_sw_r_u_apa_fabc_myhYFb8V74YSX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
My case: “Compatible Airpods Pro Case,Transparent Airpod Pro Protective Case Cover,Crystal Clear Protective Glossy Anti-dust Protector [Front LED Visible] for AirPods Pro Charging Case” https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GM6Q438/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_Oe6XFb9F9Z66X
I’ve tried so many cases for my AirPods Pro and they’ve always had something in common that didn’t like: the back of the AirPods half covered. It always allow dust on that naked part of the AirPods. Therefore I sharpened my research I went for this! So far no complains, leather, fully covered, pretty and cheap! At least for me! You might like it too so take a look at it if you’ve got a chance!
Was thinking about buying these for the same reason. haven't bought them yet tho so not sure how good they are but the reviews seem promising
Everyone's ears are different. I would recommend AZLA silicone tips (https://www.amazon.com/AZLA-SednaEarfit-XELASTEC-Airpods-Pairs/dp/B08DRZ7FM6) which fixes the issue of slipping out for me, but if you aren't interested in buying new tips then returning is the best option!
If the Jabras fit you well, I heard the 75t and new 85t both have active noise cancellation
I wanted a case that was solid because i didn't trust any soft silicone one with a carabiner not to break if pulled. I also wanted one that was relatively clear as my airpods have an engraving that means a lot to me as they were a gift from my sister, so i chose this one.

I have it since I got the airpods in May, and it has protected them perfectly so far! I don't have anything bad to say about it.
