Bro this stuff is actually a miracle, it completely destroyed my cyanobacteria problem. Now all if it turned back into regular green algae as god intended.

You'll save money in the long run if you buy one of these. That's a super good sale right now, too.

I did myself a favor and replaced all of mine with plastic, which is good because I accidentally toss the nitrate one across the room while "vigorously shaking" about once a month.
It's a part of a fish training kit (the R2 Fish School Complete Fish Training Kit I think) that I used when I was six and had goldfish. I keep the basketball floating in Nebula's tank (she sometimes boops it with her nose) as well as the tennis and soccer balls (though they sink).

Hrm maybe I am thinking of another model, which one are you talking about?
This is the one I have https://www.chewy.com/fish-mate-f14-aquarium-fish-feeder/dp/136179
The really tiny pellets can get stuck / go under the vertical dividers and also sometimes don't get knocked into the hole at the right time
1mL syringes are so great for dosing. I also have a massive f-off size syringe I got from my mom’s horse vet. It’s like 60mL, and it’s awesome for dosing meds you have to administer in specific spots (currently I’m dosing panacur C in my big tank and that requires you to basically squirt 100mL of dewormer wherever you see planaria).
The test tube rack does allow them to dry upside down, I have one of these. I taped it in place alongside my 5.5 gallon with waterproof tape so it doesn’t get knocked off the shelf, as it’s very light and one push and it would destroy all my tubes in one go.
this has literally changed my life. Its pricey but it easily attaches directly to your sink and will siphon and refill your tank all in one go. Its absolutely the best.
Might be blue green algae, if so it's not an algae but a form of bacteria. You can tell by smelling it if it smells sulfurous/swampy. As well if you hold it to the light it should really be a very dark green. If these symptoms match I would recommend (this)[https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000QSK31M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_WV2JGG4B787HGRWP2A4T?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1] as it's helped me a lot with my problem.
My betta was/is notorious for this! Couldn’t eat from the surface to save her life.
I got her this little acrylic feeding dish and I place the pellets in there for her.

She eats all the pellets from it and my tank is much cleaner now.

Wait, are people still hauling buckets of water? It's 2020 people. Water change systems exist. I wouldn't have six fish tanks if they didn't and I sure as hell wouldn't have a 75 gallon tank.
Hey are you in the USA? I found this gravel vac with built-in hand pump???
