According to healthcare.gov the benefits can vary. For instance, some plans may only cover the rental (and not purchase) of a pump. Some plans may only cover manual pumps.
Edit -- Not intending to be argumentative...I just know that if my plan only covers a rental or a manual pump, then I will buy my own electric pump.
Aww nothing worse than waking up to animal vomit! My puppy, now 2 years old, was such a chewer... chewed through many computer cords, bottom of our dresser, socks and underwear, corner of baseboards, rails under our bed. She did eventually grow out of it, we did exactly what you are planning to do scolded her as we saw it happening and tried keeping everything out of her reach. I also ordered a ton of chew toys until we figured out what she liked -- check out amazon, I found their prices way better than the pet store. My pup loves this one https://www.amazon.com/Benebone-Bacon-Flavored-Wishbone-Chew/dp/B00CPDWT2M/ . She sleeps in our bedroom at night, no crate, and we close the door so she isn't out getting into trouble. Seemed like if she had gotten plenty of play time before bed she slept through the night and didn't chew on our furniture :) Only time we have issues now, which is really rare, is if she is bored and doesn't have a bone to chew on. Good luck!!!!!
I got these silicone ones from Amazon and have been wearing them since 20 weeks. They are comfy and flexible, and most important...cheap!
I am so sorry! No matter what, you'll figure out a way to make it work. Check on that severance package, and if your insurance is through him and you'll be loosing it, check out and see if you can maintain it through COBRA.
Just remember, wedding vows generally contain 'for better or worse' verbatim or in spirit, and do not feel ashamed if one of the 'worse' bits happens to be around your wedding. We went through some hardships at our wedding, but I try to frame it as 'if this is what we have to go through now for better things later, so be it'. Enjoy your wedding, but don't buy in to the hype that it has to be the BEST DAY EVER and feel bad if you have mixed feelings towards it.
Oh yeah... I'm recalling this loophole now that you mention it. Interesting thing is, then they have to state on the 1095 form that the coverage offered to you wasn't good (not minimum essential is the right terminology I believe)
Then you get to go elsewhere (the marketplace) and get a different plan stating that tthe insurance through work was shit, so something to that effect. I work with benefits to a certain extent, but am certainly not the best contact.
Interestingly the healthcare.gov website states otherwise
I haven't run into this yet. I'm preparing for the girls at work because I just know that's coming. Strangers can piss the f- right off. I want a shirt that says "I am not a buddah, do not rub my belly"
https://www.walmart.com/ip/No-Belly-Rubs-I-m-Not-Buddha-Black-Maternity-Soft-T-Shirt/142514794 Like this one!
I've had decent luck drinking passionfruit LaCroix sparkling water at room temp. I've been having hard time finding drinks that don't make me want to puke, too...I hope you're able to find something that works for you.
Maybe it's just our insurance...if you Google it you can see that there are actually plans that are called high deductible health plans. Here's the government page for it. But paying that much a year in premiums means you're not HDHP because the whole point of a high deductible is to have lower premiums.
Edit - According to the government page, an HDHP has a deductible > $2,600 for a family.
My local grocery store has it, and our Wal-Mart does, too (though Wal-Mart's selection of flavors isn't all that great). The blackberry cucumber flavor is available on Amazon if you get desperate!
For those of you addicted to Amazon Prime the way I am, I have these amazing black work pants that are basically stretchy yoga pants, but somehow look very neat and polished. That brand makes a huge variety of deceptively dressy looking stretchy pants.
I ordered this maternity tankini top from Amazon -- I love it! Oceanlily has a few others to choose from, too.
I skipped the Snoogle because it just seemed to big for my bed. I did order a memory foam wedge pillow from Amazon at the beginning of the week (see below) and it's supposed to arrive today so I'll report back!
Depending on the issue, sometimes there are cheap fixes. We've placed plywood sheets directly under our mattress if it had too much "give". We've also just given up on the mattress concept before and gotten much cheaper shikibuton-style pads directly on a floor or plywood sheet over the slats that took some initial getting used to but felt much better than a bad mattress after the initial adjustment.
We got this one from Amazon: The First Years Quick Serve Bottle Warmer,Colors May Vary https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00005BXKM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_8sM9yb4ZF8YBA It was cheap and got the job done. But wasn't too fancy. :)
They make a mini snoogle that looks like it's designed to be used under the head or not. No personal experience but if you try it, let me know. I got a full sized snoogle but I miss my old pillow.
Unless you're using a VOC-free paint, I'd wear a half-face respirator. The cheap, white respirators like this one are only intended to filter out particulates, so one wouldn't do any good with regards to filtering out VOCs from paint.
I've had a hard time finding a changing table that I like (I really want a changing table to keep diapers/wipes, etc organized). We found this one on Amazon and went ahead and bought the white version of it. IF our baby is a girl, we're going to buy the bookcase that goes with it. We're still debating on the rest of the furniture.
Keep taking the softeners every day.
Other advice: If you have hemorrhoids, don't push your poos! If you can afford a small bidet unit*, buy one! It'll go a long way to helping your hemorrhoids not be irritated and bleeding. And it's better for the drains than flushable wipes.
