Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance
by Robert M. Pirsig.
This book got me into riding.
One of the most influential texts written in the past half-century, if you haven't already you should give this a read, or gift it to your partner. As a rider myself I would have been over the moon if someone had gifted this to me - here's an excerpt:
>"In a car you're always in a compartment, and because you're used to it you don't realize that through that car window everything you see is just more TV. You're a passive observer and it is all moving by you boringly in a frame.
>On a cycle the frame is gone. You're completely in contact with it all. You're in the scene, not just watching it anymore, and the sense of presence is overwhelming. That concrete whizzing by five inches below your foot is the real thing, the same stuff you walk on, it's right there, so blurred you can't focus on it, yet you can put your foot down and touch it anytime, and the whole thing, the whole experience, is never removed from immediate consciousness."

I think they're really good to keep on your keys incase you lose them that would be very expensive to all swap out all the key barrels and electrical stuff if your bike has an immobiliser.
When tracked its quite accurate but they are also easy to find once away from a paired iPhone they will beep at random intervals, also Apple has released an app for anti-stalking purposes. (source: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.apple.trackerdetect)
I will also mention the app used to locate the airtag has no historic location data if I'm a thief and find that airtag on your bike I'll toss it onto public transport!
I'd say go do it but be aware of its limits consider it a bare minimum for stuff like "guy broke the steering wheel lock and rolled it a hundred metres somewhere else but didn't manage to to start the bike"
I rode around pretty much my entire time on my PS with one of these , not as good as something like a sena but its about 3/4 as good and less than half the price. I believe it might still actually be illegal to use bluetooth on your PS but I personally had no issues and I highly doubt you will, but thats your risk.
Just be careful to stay focused on the road and not just your music/directions.
I use BT earbuds and a BT controller I bought from Amazon for about $20 (https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08Q3H67TZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_ZPRTC4M9B7P3G5327Z1P?psc=1) which I cut the cradle legs off and hot-snotted to the top of one of my front forks.
Phone in my jacket, remote on the bars, buds in my ears - simple solution. And cheaper than a special unit built into your lid.
I've just replaced the battery in my 20S, it was cheap and a trivially easy task (undo a few screws, pop off the jog dial. no soldering, just a small plug).
I got the battery from Amazon for under $30 including delivery, from a seller like this: https://www.amazon.com.au/Battery-Motorcycle-Bluetooth-Headset-intercom/dp/B084CVKV8H/
A search of youtube shows you how it's done: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=how+to+replace+sena+30k+battery
I have a Fodsports M1ProS - for a cheapish unit its quite good, and does everything it says on the the tin. We have used it with 4 x people in the city and the open road and it works well enough.
One thing to mention is that tt manages range by leapfrogging headsets - so if a link in the chain suddenly drops out (traffic lights, buildings, etc) you drop everyone else. Once they catch up it tends to sort itself out.
Uses either a Mounting clip / adhesive strip to install - was easy on a few different helmets that we have.
Otherwise its great for playing music and works with Siri etc.
I currently have galaxy buds and they stick out pretty far. My helmet has enough space on the inside for them to fit but the issue I have is getting them helmet on. Putting the helmet on pulls them out of my ears. My friend has Airpod pro's that are no issue.
Currently I use these wired earbuds which are very low profile and wrap over the ear so they don't fall out. They work great but the lack of bluetooth can be a little annoying sometimes.
Personally I would avoid the Galaxy buds. They work great but honestly for the price I would try find some Airpods. Apple can be expensive but they're so heavily focuses ease of use that it would just be worth it.
Plugfones honestly look like the way to go. The earbuds I used aren't great at insulating against sound. Cheers for the suggestion.
Had some thing with my bike during lockdown, If you want fast delivery of a charge/maintainer then order the one I got from Amazon
There are mobile phone mounts on Amazon that are about $9. Works great. https://www.amazon.com.au/Insten-Bicycle-Motorcycle-Handlebar-Holder/dp/B01BHIBGBA/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1528944169&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX118_SY170_QL70&keywords=insten+phone+mount&dpPl=1&dpID=51YnnvP8j5L&ref=plSrch
