Thank you for sharing your level!
It was also around N4 level when I started playing BL games. I first learned Japanese thru otome games but my first ever BL game in JP was DMMD Re: connect. NGL, I read through the whole thing by context (so I did not understand almost everything) but understanding a few kanji words and grammar helped me. You may also refer to your JP dictionary every now and then as you read to check the meaning of unfamiliar kanji characters. Since most of the games I played are voiced, they helped me better understand the context of the story and I can look for the meaning of the words in the dictionary. It took me years to get used to reading the text without voices. Huhuhuhu!
You may want to explore BL games that focus on the school setting or slice-of-life type like Kamisama Kari: Gakuen Souran Hen. It uses easier vocabulary and kanji. :D
If you're really unfamiliar with a word and how to read it, I recommend this website.

You can screenshot the scene and it will automatically translate the words for you in English.
The game DVD will be for your PC/laptop’s optical disc drive (the stuff where you put CDs). If you don’t have that like most laptops nowadays don’t, you can purchase an external optical drive, like this one , that you can attach to your computer through a USB cable.
The past JAST Blue games were also available DRM-free digitally through their official store, so I’ll most likely just wait for that if you don’t want to go though all the above-mentioned hassle and don’t mind missing out on the pre-order goodies.
Oh hey it's my omegaverse itch.io collection lol
FYI Reversing Caste has an English version on Android, I downloaded it ages ago but keep forgetting to check it out so thanks for the reminder.
There's also a couple Japanese-only omegaverse BL games on DLsite.
