You're right. I left it out since it is an EP. It is similar to the other early albums.
I found it all on Discogs.com. It has a list of everything he has released. I checked probably a week ago and they added another one otherwise I would have included that in the guide as well. Some of the early work doesn't really exist on physical, but you can look on Discogs. It includes prices and links if available.
Other than that you can find them on YouTube and listen there.

I DL'd this and much of other beck's obscure work; among other diamonds in the rough out in the music world.
Also: Lampshade and (slight hot take? Considered high tier but not best) Totally Confused are easily among Beck's best in his catalog.
I love unconventional: crashed-on-indica-after-no-sleep-in-a-motel-for-48-hours-after-a-breakup-and-finalizing-it-with-some-robotripping - type albums.

You should buy one of the books written about his life. I haven't read any but I think it's where wikipedia sites a lot of his early life stories. Here is one: http://www.amazon.com/Beck-Beautiful-Monstrosity-Julian-Palacios/dp/0752271431
This one looks a little more recent: http://www.amazon.com/Throwing-Frisbees-At-The-Sun/dp/1908279605/ref=pd_cp_14_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=1E3QM69397AP5311F30E
Edit: But to briefly answer your question, he was busking in NYC and then moved back to LA where he continued to work odd jobs and perform in various janky clubs and venues with his folk friends. All of this was before he was 20 or so. You gotta remember that Loser came out when he was still pretty young (23?), so he's been a professional musician for most of his life.
