The shop isn't duty free, they call it Travel Free and I guess it's probably vietnamese owned shop selling questionable alcohol and cheap tat.
The border between the Netherlands and Belgium is also in this photograph. The town in the foreground is Bergen op Zoom and the edge of Antwerp is just visible in the distance on the left.

I was here years ago and there is a border cairn in those overgrown woods. The km/h speel limit sign is a clue. When I was there two old men were fishing right where the border hits the river.
