I use NordVPN. Works really well. I game on it, stream on it, do everything on it, don't see a noticeable speed difference generally. Amazon doesn't really work with it on, but Netflix works on most of their servers. I've used Private Internet Access as well in the past, didn't have issues with Amazon, but Netflix never worked. But otherwise it was also very good
There are always big coupon codes available. I think I signed up for 3 years for $99 or something like that.
Other options if you think anyone could potentially use said junk ;) :
1) You could donate it to Habitat for Humanity's ReStore. They resell the donations of used furniture, appliances, fixtures etc. to the public and proceeds go to the local Habitat for Humanity. I believe you can just drop the stuff off at their stores, there is one at Appleby and Upper Middle: https://www.habitathm.ca/restore.
2) You could also offer it online on a site like freecycle, a non-profit recycling group where people offer/request items for free: https://www.freecycle.org/
found something on amazon. I'm not sure what stores locally might carry something like this, sorry.
I personally use VyprVPN. While it is $15/month you can have 3 devices at once connected and has the fastest speeds I've seen on a VPN. Gaming and streaming is no issue. Many, many countries to connect to, including a Toronto (for fastest speeds)
They keep minimal records for 48hours then it's wiped. They also have a 'chameleon' mode where it even disguises your connection to not look like a straight up VPN. That being said, Netflix doesn't work on it.
They have apps for iOS,Android, windows. Though you can also setup the VPN the old way (manually).
I use Nord. I get anywhere between 35mbps-48mbps depending on what server I'm using (I have a 50mbps internet plan). Pretty sure the 75nordoff coupon expired, but believe the 66nordoff still works (comes to ~$5/month for 2 year plan). Netflix works fine once I find a server with good speeds that isn't IP blocked. Otherwise haven't had any issues.
I also tried ExpressVPN. It worked as well as Nord did with Netflix. I believe the speeds were also almost identical to Nord.
PIA I believe is the cheapest of the "Big 3". I've read that others get good speeds, but I don't believe it works well (or at all) with Netflix. I believe LinusTechTips has a coupon with them.
I see ProtonVPN recommended a bunch too (more on reddit than review sites). People seem to get good speeds, and I think it works with Netflix if you go through a few hoops.
The absolute cheapest is probably Windscribe, which is a Canadian company (they still charge USD like the rest though). They had a deal on RFD that was $12 for 2 years I believe. I saw mixed opinions in the thread (probably 60% good, 40% bad) about the VPN. Some were getting good speeds and worked with Netflix, others had problems with both.
I highly recommend trying a bunch of VPNs to test everything yourself. Pretty well all the VPNs I've seen in this thread are ones I saw recommended elsewhere as well.
Trials for the VPNs I listed:
NordVPN - 3 days (no payment required, but has 30 days money back if needed)
ExpressVPN - 30 days money back
PIA - 7 days money back
Windscribe - Free with 10GB limit (and maybe a limitation of server access? (this could be wrong))
ProtonVPN - Free with no access to P2P servers, may work with Netflix.
A final note. Be cautious about review sites, as a lot of VPNs pay a ton of money for reviews (especially Nord, Express, and PIA). Do a little research, and test them out for yourself before paying for anything.
I use IPVanish. Good service and no issues. I was also able to integrate it into my home router (I use my own and don't use my ISP provided router). If you sign up for a year it is $78 USD and they allow 10 devices.
Omg first of all I am obsessed with your dogs and had a pug growing up. Second of all, there is a scratch treat toy that you can give dogs who are food obsessed (pugs!!) that will file down their front nails at least. Let me grab a link for you:
Maybe not this exact one, but this type of thing! I’m sure you can find one cheaper somewhere. Good luck with your babies and their nails!!
Happily, children's tylenol/advil is the same as infant tylenol/advil, save for the label and the lack of a little plunger/tube for delivery. If you're lucky enough to have one from a previous bottle, then use that but otherwise be extremely careful about dosages and err on the side of dministering too little.
We recently found some liquid advil at the Shoppers at New Street, so maybe check that out (assuming that your teething kid is at least 6 months).
You could also try some of these gum cooling things. They only last for 5-10 minutes before they need to be swapped out, but they do seem to provide relief and the three pack makes it easy enough to have a rotation going. They're also a lot more sustainable than tylenol, since teething is going to last for a long while, and you probably don't want to rely on it too much.
I have this one (https://www.amazon.ca/Ultrean-Electric-Nonstick-Detachable-Certified/dp/B07Z1R5D26/ref=sr_1_11?keywords=air%2Bfryer&qid=1654228497&sr=8-11&th=1), and I think it's great. I mostly do Chicken Breast/Wings, Fries, Perogies... Good times ; )
I'd say ballpark of $400 to $1500, depends on the length, I was pretty lucky having a very useful spot to connect pretty close to the BBQ.
Make sure you have the hose first as the fitting that the gas fitter would put on comes with the hose. A 36' hose is $110 on Amazon, gives you lots of slack if you change your mind on where you want your BBQ.
Not sure if you're of this generation, or have young kids, but the TMNT Pizza Book has really good dough recipes and some fun pizza ideas if you have kids or if you're adventurous.
Finish on Amazon. cheaper than in-store
Coming from the states, I have always been a big fan of Dark Sky and still use it daily. Their phone app isn't in the Canadian app store, but their web site works great on both desktop and mobile. Here is a handy link for downtown Burlington:

If you've not used the site before, be sure to click the black bar next to "Today" below the radar map and then "More Details" to see the amazing displays they have for precipitation and other conditions.
A door stop on your side of the door would make it impossible for them to open it, even if they blast out your lock. one of these would work perfect. literally cannot open the door when you jamb it under on your side.
Obviously really scary but next time be sure to lead with saying that you already called the police or are calling them right now, even if you haven't, chances are they're not going to want to wait around to see what happens.
Also be sure to tell your super intendant/landlord or whoever you would contact for issues with the building, send it via email if you can. If there are security deficiencies like a broken lock on an outside door or some idiot is letting random people in you want it on record that you informed the property owner/manager. Not only might they not be aware of something that should be fixed you can also start to hold them to account if there are things they know that should be done that they haven't been taking care of.
You could also consider getting a camera like this oneor something similar. Even if you can't mount it outside your door just inside your place somewhere pointed at the door is going to be a major deterrent if anyone actually gets through the door. I would definitely only point it at what you wouldn't mind someone seeing though, like as in just at your entry way or something. Sure there shouldn't be any way for someone to see your camera feed but I figure better safe than sorry when it comes to privacy, that camera will automatically back up the footage online as well if you set it to so I don't point them at anything I wouldn't mind some random person seeing just in case.
Anyway glad your ok and chances are it was two idiots that will hopefully fuck off and never come back.
You can get them for like $6 on Amazon as an add-on item. It won't be ornate or suitable for calligraphy I'm sure, but if you just like the feel that might do it.
If you do that route, just make sure you get the two pack since it's cheaper than just buying one because of Amazon reasons.
I eat nothing but these, doctor says they gonna take my foot.
