I personally do not believe there was ever a premined, the rumor that there was a premine was made in a infamous Bitcoin talk post about the "Cryptonote/Bytecoin scam". In a paper I wrote about these allegations, I covered it and it has absolutely no proof for that claim and others. You can read the paper here:

Not entirely sure but I do find it alarming that you had your coins withdrawn out of a brand new account only 3 days old. Assuming your email isn't on https://haveibeenpwned.com/ and you don't reuse passwords I would do a virus scan.

I don't think so, because I also tried using Paw, which is what I always use for HTTP testing. The response I get with Paw is the same.

This is most awesome. I am happy to say I stand on my soapbox and try to spread the word about Bytecoin. When my friends come over and see my living room(filled with 7 pc's and various parts laying around on shelves) they always ask about BTC and Altcoins, I immediately go into my speech about Bytecoin. I will continue to spread the good word of the Bytecoin and continue to watch us grow and remember, the sky is the limit.

Tbh bcn scene is very low atm I searched around but couldn't find any alternative to minergate in terms of simplicity.

• Unzip 1.1.4
• open the GUI wallet
• let it sync (again, but this time is a bit faster)
• After it has sync'd, you should see your balance reflect to your wallet again.
• Then, you can either stay 1.1.4 or proceed to use 1.1.5 again.

In case if you're synced on 1.1.4 but still no coins in your wallet, go to your root drive of your PC (e.g. C:), type %AppData% on address bar and press Enter, go to bytecoin folder, copy blockindexes and blocks file, rename bytecoin folder to bytecoins or whatever (for backup), re-run the 1.1.4 wallet, close it again, go back to %AppData% and the bytecoin folder, and paste the thing you have copied from the backup folder. Re-run the wallet ...again.

i'm seeing some of the top users put some money into the scrypt MHS ... for the 24 hour version (i dont see a 5 year version) every 1 MHS is 5 cents USD ... so they drop like 50-100 bucks and farm up their 4.0 GHS however i'm unsure if its worth doing that cause i dont see any conversions :x

I use both Bytecoin web wallet and Cryptonator. I have transfered my coins many times in both directions. Can you pls be more specific? Like have you lost access to your webwallet or you sent your coins to Cryptonator and they have not been received or ...?

It's basically multiple types of wallets all in one and you can pick which kind of wallets you want. So like, if you get jaxx, you can have a wallet for BTC, ETH, etc. and they are all in one program. Each is a separate wallet but it is all contained in the same program which is cool. Free btw as all wallets are (AFAIK)

I am getting the same issue. I got around it by using my friend's user I'd/I'd number in the right tab when you send. For example on wallet is, https://freewallet.org/id/jaysonbh/bcn , and to send to my address alternatively, the user I'd jaysonbh can be used in FreeWallet.

We can only hope so. The market is a little down at the moment but BCN has always bounced back in the past so there is no reason to think that we will not bounce back again.
