On the website, they call it "Call of Duty 4: Remastered"
Don't use steam as a way of checking. CoD 4 (for PC) was mainly purchased by users via CD at the time prior to Steam becoming as big as it is now.
You can track actual player numbers via Game Servers Website
Page 1 alone shows 450 people playing the game currently.
It's not surrendering. There's no fight. Your voice will never be heard by anyone in any large corporation who can actually enact a change.
This is the Merriam-Webster definition of futile.
The reason that your initial premise of "accepting it is worse than resisting it" is illogical, is that the end result is the same regardless of what you do, so putting effort and time into "fighting" for your "morals", is just wasted energy. Your convictions stay the same regardless of what you say and do.
What's the point of posting an outcry of justice on a dead subreddit where no more than 100 people in the world will even see? Most of the people here have the same thoughts anyway.

the comment everyone’s been obsessing about, is at the very bottom of the article. hoping for an update as well, but I’ve unfortunately just jumped ship to IW after 11 months of MWR, haha.
Here's the link if you want to read the full thing, it's basically just some tips for playing CTF: https://www.callofduty.com/modern-warfare-remastered/landing/capture-the-flag
Credit to @ChuckStacey on Twitter for finding this, I had no idea this existed until last night.

Extracted straight from the Call Of Duty website link I provided:
"One of the most critically-acclaimed games in history. Call of Duty®4: Modern Warfare®, is back, remastered in true high-definition..."
It is NOT a remaster of the Modern Warfare series. It is a remaster of COD4 and that's it.

if you look in the fine print it says there's 10 maps at launch and the remaining will be available by 12/31.. shouldn't countdown be in the originals available at launch?
Description: The whole screen turns dark red when injured. This was not the case in the original, where your screen just pulsed red along the outside of the screen. You could still see properly!! It was only fully red during the event of being hit by a bullet.
Reproduction Steps: Get injured.
Video: Not required, instead, I have pictures:
Please note that in the following picture from the original game, the middle of the screen is not red:
As apposed to MWR where the entire screen becomes dark red and makes it incredibly hard to see:
Now I chose a light area to showcase this in MWR but it get's really annoying when you try to spot people in darker areas, or on darker maps. This definitely needs to be fixed!
Platform: PC
ASRock Z77 Extreme4
Intel i5 3570k
Gigabyte Windforce Geforce GTX 1060
LC Power 750W
Windows 10
Steam
Other: Please don't add more guns!! Instead add maps from MW2 like Rust and Firing Range! I would pay for a MW2 map pack but I will never spend money on COD Points!!!
Cod4 Has more players. SteamCharts is inaccurate for games that came out post 10 years ago (due to steam being near irrelevant and unused at the time.) in addition to most games being purchased on disc ath the time. Check on Gameservers to see how active the player-base is.
PS it's over 500 on page 1 alone.
WiFi latency will be responsible for getting you killed many times. If running an ethernet cable is definitely not an option, I'd suggest looking into a Powerline Adapter Set. These basically use the already existing electrical wiring inside your walls to transmit the data normally transmitted by ethernet cables. There's only one caveat, The sender and receiver have to be connected to power plugs on the same electrical circuit so they either work or they don't . If they don't you could just return them. That's the latency / lag part. Now onto the NAT part. If you're using a ISP provided router can I assume you have the administrator password to log in and make changes to this router? (Lately ISPs have been including this information on stickers attached to the device itself).
