Yeah, the greenhouse effect is a serious issue in an RV for sure. The last time I camped in an RV in the desert, I had to turn on the AC just an hour after the sun came up, which was at about 6:45am. It went from reasonable to unbearable in minutes. 🙂 The same thing happens to tents, which is why the ShiftPods are so nice with their insulation and AC units. And that still makes a difference even if it isn't too hot outside. That desert sun is still brutal.
However, looking at current and 10-day forecasts aren't particularly useful in this case because the weather changes so rapidly in Vegas during the last half of October. We need to be looking at the average or forecasted temp for Oct 22-24. Here are a couple of helpful links for that:
AccuWeather 30-day forecast for Vegas Oct 20-31: https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/las-vegas/89101/daily-weather-forecast/329506?page=2
Climate-data.org average temp in Vegas by day (middle column shows average high on that day): https://en.climate-data.org/north-america/united-states-of-america/nevada/las-vegas-723/t/october-10/#climate-table-month
This. Just contact them and tell them that you need to return it because some of your group can't make the new 2021 dates. Here is a link:

Just do it soon because the cutoff date is August 16th for a refund.
I got TSA travel locks from Amazon. Paid about $15 for two. My group and I decided to go with a 3 digit combination lock so we wouldn’t lose the key.
Smaller, like one of the ones with the wires would be best imo. It has to go through the top zipper of the door and bottom zipper of the door once they're in the middle when it's closed.
I don't know anything about this company and I'm not condoning this one, but this style.
We bought a lockbox on amazon for $20, but I’m sure you could get one at your local store. The one we have can attach to the RV handle and has a 4 digit code. (Master Lock 5400D Set Your Own Combination Portable Lock Box, 5 Key Capacity, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002YP1VC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_NEn3Cb7VR9WVF)
The 50 amp power boxes have also had 30 amp plugs the last 3 EDC’s so you don’t even need a converter. If you want one anyway, here’s what you need: Snowy Fox 50 Amp to 30 Amp RV... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GXP2R4K?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I also user Dr.Sleep melatonin spray and I feel like it helped putting me to sleep.
Look for something with big wheels and it can take more of a beating.
I've used this for 2 years in a row and it's still going strong. I blacked out the last day of edc and my gf threw me in it and wheeled me out. I'm at least 180 lbs at that time. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072J2S74W?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I highly recommend these (link below) Not only do they have a built in pump they are also comfortable and don’t take up a lot of space. Also super easy to travels with because when they are rolled up and in their case they don’t take up much room at all. I feel like 2 queens would’ve been so annoying bc we also had our coolers, food and clothes in the pod. Also it we would set these up on their sides agains the pod while we weren’t sleeping to make plenty of room for us to get ready and hang out before going into the fest. They blow up super quick and can easily be put away. I also love that it has a built in pillow so I didn’t have to bring one
The Mesa is basically the only place for shade, but it's plentiful and has misters. We would sleep until the AC couldn't keep up so we would head to the mesa and chill until the sun calmed down enough.
In theory you can fit two queens, but you won't have room for much else. A queen and a twin would well together, so two fulls are fine.

Let me introduce you to my little friend.. Totally worth owning.

weird, it works from everything I try.. Amazon just seems f'd up.
you can look up "collapsible stool" on there.
https://www.amazon.com/NOW-Psyllium-Husk-500-Capsules/dp/B0013OW2KS
We take these daily and they were life savers. Brought a new bottle of these into camp and not only did they make our time in the bathroom faster but also ensured our body wasnt thrown off from all the fried food
I’ve got an extra gold one I from Amazon I don’t need if you want r/Amazon
That is not an issue and frankly better for you running AC with more headroom on the power source. There is a difference between a 30amp plug and a 50amp plug. If the coach is 30 amp you may need that adapter. A "normal" RV resort would allow a 30 amp plug without an adapter at a 50amp campsite. Not sure about this setup at EDC...so you can find that at any walmart. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X44ZYYQ/ref=cm\_sw\_em\_r\_mt\_dp\_RHQA6AHT1ZHM7EWX6B10?\_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I picked up a battery bank for us for desert rose and i think that this would be perfect for that as well. You cN also get solar panels to connect in as well!

This is what me and my friends are bringing so we can all comfortably fit since there will be 4 of us. Also when they’re rolled up and put away they don’t take up much room at all
There’s personal umbrellas that clip to your camping chairs if you need extra shade. Although there is lots of shade around camp, just not much by the pods

Something similar to this!
I was planning on bringing my camp coffee maker. They're somewhat cheap and travel easy.
I got a camping french press at walmart and then use this stuff to boil the water. If works just about anywhere.

20 inch tall with an airpump built in.

I realize this is an old thread, but if you still had your tickets, didn't pay them off and wanted a refund: You have till August 6th or 16th I think to ask for one using this link:

This info was sent out in an email earlier this week to those of us who still had their payment plans on hold (myself included.
I contacted them via their website Contact Us page asking about CampEDC refund only and below was the response I received. I just checked and form seems to still be accessible so hopefully you could use the same form for yourself as well.
“If you do not have a festival pass order, or you only need to process a refund for an ancillary product such as a shuttle, Camp EDC or Premier Parking pass, please click below to complete the process. When requested for an RA number, please put 'N/A'
Not sure if the May 1 deadline also applied for non-festival pass specific refund requests but hope this helps!
Camco genturi is one you can buy, but we just made it. We have a Genesis 5th wheel and the onboard generator which is pretty quiet plus an external generator, I was just worried about fumes. We have some solar too, that helps a lot.
I’d be ok dry camping we do it when we go to the dunes n stuff, but my hubby is worried about it being too hot. It’s like an extra $500 for electric right? I was worried they’d sell out fast too.
Thank you for the info :)gen-Turin
I'm bringing a pack of these hand, toes, and body warmers to help keep warm. Throw a couple inside a sleeping bag and it'll be nice and toasty! https://www.amazon.com/HotHands-Hand-Body-Warmer-Variety/dp/B004R1J464/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=3AF4A4LL8UO69&dchild=1&keywords=hand+warmers+disposable&qid=1634433975&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzSDVVNTZaQ01NVjM4JmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMjQ0MzI3M0NPNUdFQTg1UVFQSSZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNzI0MjE5SzdQRkMzOVQ2TkYxJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==
Always used these to hang tapestries from our canopy

I saw the guidelines say "NO Dollies or hand trucks", but they are OK with those fold up wagons for kids? (like this). That would be handy but I don't want to haul it down there if we can't use it...
Have you tried a nice l noise-maker app like this one? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tmsoft.whitenoise.full. It has lots of different variations of fan noises and you can combine up to 5 sounds to make your own mix.
I hear you my friend, I'm sort of the same way. You really need to start training yourself to sleep without it (just in general).
I use this and it really does the trick.
Listen to Fan Noise for Sleeping (75 Minutes) by Relaxing White Noise on #SoundCloud https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/ky5xg
Or I use a small USB fan
You could bring this "under the tire" base and theoretically put something heavy on it or under your tent.
They have 75' cables on Amazon.
