This is exactly it. I have one of these that we bought on sale at Belk or Dillard's. The steep wok like sides makes it flip foods easily. It has also held seasoning better than any of my other Lodge pieces. I use mine mainly on the grill. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0001DJVFQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_JQREPBDKZGW79S5J0A52?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
The yellow book shows two variations of the Alfred Andresen monk pan made by Griswold, including he one I have, but not the one you have. Does the underside of your handle have a "2992" pattern number on it? The shape is pretty much the same, but maybe there are variations not made by Griswold?
I like my Griswold chef skillet more than my Wagner ones. You might want to hang onto it.

I used a sander to shine up the steel of that clamp for the alligator clip. Sanded off the paint where it touches the piece. It makes for a very solid way hold the piece and lets me clip to my cathode side high and dry.
The two anodes are connected with copper.
I have just built a tank and I am using this for power: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GHBDF5Z?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
Never tried using cast iron before. Seems like a reasonable short-term idea, but probably wouldn't work for my little tanks.
If anybody cares, I usually just buy these b/c they're pretty reusable, portable, and easy to clean.

I know NOTHING about electricity but don’t hesitate to ask questions as you’re setting it up.
I almost did this but I ended up doing a much simpler path: SHNITPWR 12V Power Supply 20A 240W AC DC Adapter, 110V / 240V AC to DC 12 Volt 20 Amp Switching Power Converter Transformer LED Driver for LED Light Strip 3D Printer CCTV Security System LCD Monitor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TZMJBZX/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_g_QVNTZ77QYCV6X3GCDQ1T
I see you have a couple nice items. That was your Griswold DO right. It’s so going to be worth buying the lye. food grade Amazon link I buy this one because it’s food grade and the same price as drain cleaner. 2 lbs will make 10 gallons so if you have an old storage container with lid already at home you’re all set. You can keep using the tank over and over, then dumped down the drain when you’re done if you’re not on a septic tank system.

It doesn't come in a stick.
Just to be clear about posting this link, I've tried lots of seasonings, all I could buy in fact. For a few reasons I like this one as a best all around choice. It works good -- maybe not as good as my homemade blend for finishing, but it it's still good. It doesn't smell up the apartment like anything with olive oil does -- thats absolutely the worst. It burns darker than most all the rest. It bonds well between layers. It works reasonably well as a base coat after a restore, not my fav but better than most. It's cheap -- and I used to go through multiple cans per week so that really matters. It doesn't smell rancid or get sticky after storage. And most importantly, the directions are on the bottom -- which is super important for those new to seasoning.
I won't say that the blend makes everything perfect, just like dance shoes don't make a better dancer, I'm just saying it's a baseline solid choice that all can start from with predictable results. Truth is though, the more you know about cleaning the less important the specific seasoning blend is for the end product. I like my personal blends because they work well together with my cleaning techniques, but everybody has their own and everybody practices with their own tools, and everybody has their own opinions.
In fact, I usually throw a can in every order I ship out to a new client, just so my clients don't don't get wrapped in the seasoning holy wars. Directions are on the bottom, use this, learn the basics, go from there.

That exact teapot is $30 on amazon, I'd cut losses and just buy a new one.

If anyone asks just fess up. "I love the teapot you got me but I accidentally broke it. I bought another just like it because I liked it so much. Thanks again for the wonderful gift."
Under this base plate, there was a little piece of sheet metal that looks either zinc or tin plated that sat between the opening and the clay. It's the shiny flat piece in the picture of all the parts.
Yes I do nickel plating. It's really easy once you get some practice in. You need a trickle of voltage, like one to two volts. And that's why I'm sort of anti-buying-a-car-battery-charger for my etank. These are smaller and you can do more with them.

If you ever want to try it, it's easy. Just get some vinegar, some salt, a strip of nickel, and a power supply like the one above. Youtube'll show you how. It's great to do with kids, they always think they're going to create a fake version of those nickel pennies from world war 2.

Just to be clear this is total overkill at the a 10 Amp level. I literally bought this because it has a nice little handle. I've been using a 15$ cheaper 5AMP version for the last two years, and honestly two amps would have been just fine, but I like that little handle. I also like the thing that shows watts, but totally not necessary, it just looks cool.
I bought this kind based on a previous post (in 2020 so I’m not sure which one). It worked great and I was able to buy it on Amazon.

Here's the test swabs I use. Somebody recommended them to me too. Really really easy. Lead is extremely reactive so you can test first if you want, maybe that'll influence how much you want to clean.
I hope if we see this guy again it's got soup in it.

It’s described as pre-seasoned, is that the same thing as enamelled? (Apologies for the basic qs)
Would you say that the small rougher Matt section in the middle of the pan has been stripped of that enamel, but the rest has survived?
Do you think if I apply some flaxseed oil and stick it in the oven it will still end up with a nice smooth finish, or is the unevenness likely to come through?
Never heard of that and looked it up - seems like it’s geared towards protecting glass stoves. What I have is this... Waring DB60 Portable Double Burner https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000I16B18/. Much to surprise I’ve cooked exclusively on it for the last five years and a Breville counter top oven for the last 2.

Yes that’s a older article but as people more frequently used that method more evidence arose from users reporting damage to their property.
