I think cemeteries are just simply beautiful. They're memorials to loved ones. They're an act of love, so how can they be morbid or ugly? Sure, some of them can be creepy, but they're so quiet and beautiful that it's worth it to get spooked out a little sometimes. :P
I wish I had the photos I took at a cemetery in Auckland. It was MASSIVE. Over 230 acres. Once you were in it, you were surrounded. The city fades away and as far as you can see is graveyard. Some parts are so old there's barely nothing left. But my mac asploded and I lost everything I had from that trip. :(
