That's nothing really new.
Saviour Machine left the country because of how they were treated -
> Despite critical acclaim from the mainstream press and a growing number of fans nationwide, people in some conservative circles reportedly felt threatened by Saviour Machine's lyrical direction and stage presentation, most prominently the white make-up and jewel worn by vocalist Eric Clayton. During their 1993 tour with metal band Deliverance, the controversy spilled over at a concert at the New Union, a club in Minneapolis. Several songs into their set, the power was cut and the performers were ushered from the stage. This was followed by an announcement from New Union management stating they were uncomfortable with the content of the show. However, many in the crowd gathered with the band shortly afterward at a local White Castle restaurant to show their continued support. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saviour_Machine

Sometimes it's not industry that does it but fans - An older friend/mentor who took me to concerts when I was younger became a youth pastor and invited me to tag along to a O.C. Supertones concert. Opening act - Stavesacre! Everytime we went to concerts before, never had issues with getting tickets, but this time it was sold out and I didn't get to see them that night :(
A couple of months later I catch Stavesacre is headlining a show and go. Mark Salomon first anecdote of the night is to apologize for the Supertones concert a couple months back. I was perplexed, after the show I got to talk to Mark and found out the fans booed them off the stage.
Some interesting trivia - Half of Whiteheart (at the time) is performing with Geoff Moore. This was a psuedo-supergroup for the time.

Discogs doesn't even have it in their database, and Bethel Music doesn't have it in their online store. However, there's always Amazon

For anyone interested this cd contains the song Here in The Light which sounds exactly like an 80s TV show opening Christian and Heartwarming
I wanted to let people know that the Children 18:3 kickstarter is still going on, and is projected on kicktraq to only hit 84% of their funding. If you like C183, or punk in general, please help fund this project. They've been a phenomenal band for over 10 years now, and they deserve to go out on top.

I've been updating with daily release lists and some special playlists (some platform-specific). I'm a little behind on the weekly playlists right now because of that.
Pretty sure it’s Steve Green, Hide Them in your heart Bible songs.

There was a band called Against The Flow that had an album named American Made. The album doesn't look 50s, and I only know one of the songs so I can't comment on how much they sounded like Rage. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.amazon.com/Against-Flow-American-Made/dp/B00004RJRB&ved=2ahUKEwi5-rjMhNHsAhXMoHIEHQC8B_YQFjACegQICBAB&usg=AOvVaw3afQu3jaNzuvIktHKJvXML
