Yep that fixed the issue. I've been browsing around and found a few things:
Code 46 snow showers (night) on most 3rd party icon sets will show the same icon as code 14 and not a night variant. It's fine for the most part but the text should probably be changed to Scattered Snow Showers. (It doesn't break anything really)
Code 45 (Showers Early on Weather.com) shows as a day icon since there is no night variant in the condition codes.
Yr.no is super weird
The forecast for Vancouver (used it for testing) shows today's forecast as Partly Cloudy in Chronus while on the website it shows Rain (earlier it showed Heavy Shower Rain night but it changed to Rain). The conditions on the site also keep changing from Heavy Rain to Heavy Rain Shower (night)
Is it possible to have the current day forecast change to a night variant whenever the forecast is a night forecast (may not be possible with some providers) or forced after sunset if the user has the daytime adjustment option ticked? I find it strange looking at the day forecast icon for today when it's after sunset.
> all the weather providers share the same icons so the mappings will need to be adjusted for all of them.
At least from what I've seen Weather.com uses the same (if not very similar) condition codes as Yahoo except 37/38 which are day icons and 47 is a night one. The day/night (800-804 OWM codes) need to be updated as well as they are incorrect (code 802 showing as cloudy as an example). I do have an updated OWM mapping I can share if you want. Yr.no is updating their API sometime this winter just so you are aware.

> I will also have to do it in a way that does not break all the 3rd party icon sets available for Chronus.
Are you going to make the condition codes available after you update them? I do have some of my own icon sets which use the new condition codes and would need to update them to match what the app is using.
Unfortunately, as mentioned here, weather.com is no more. It is being removed from Chronus in v15.5.
It was good while it lasted but all services seem to be shutting down free access and converting to pay walls, not good...
I'm a long time fan of the Chronus Clock forecast Pro widget! Love it on my main homescreen. I link the forecast to the premium weather network app and the clock links to premium my shift planner app I think it would be super helpful if there was more options for one tap linking to apps, such as if hours, minutes and date, could all link to different apps that would be great!
Got it. Thanks. If Weather.com goes away, that leaves only AccuWeather as one I can rely on. OpenWeatherMap and MET are not accurate at all, and Yahoo screws up the forecast. Its forecasted low is for the 24 hour period from midnight to midnight, so you never really know, without checking the hourly forecast, if the forecasted low already occurred last night or will occur tonight, though likely the latter since the low most often occurs in the early morning hours. The changes having to be made by Chronus are understandable, but they make the app much less useful to me.
Hi there,
Glad to see that you have noticed! We are actually also planning to introduce historical weather data into One Call API as well, so stay tuned.
Here is a quick guide that provides guidance on how to move to our APIs: https://openweathermap.org/darksky-openweather
In case you will have any questions, please feel free to drop us an email at !
I'm on Chronus 15.4.1 (beta?) and signed up for an openweathermap.org API key and when I add it to Chronus, it says the key isn't valid. Created a new key just for Chronus and it's still coming back as invalid. Is this known/expected?
Unfortunately, you can not count on the free services of weather providers. Moreover, in a monetized application, it looks sad. That's why I respect eWeather (aka Elecont Weather) - for its unchanged, from the time of Windows Mobile, the principle of contractual relations with weather providers and non-exchange for free sources. Contact him, maybe this will not be an extra experience.
ps By the way, the author of beautiful icons for your widget, is conducting an action now, do you want to support it?
pps In any case - I wish you to overcome these, we hope for temporary, difficulties and success in development! ✌
