Welcome to the sub!
I'm going to post the 6 hour long video that Bill posted just because some might not have seen it - this is a compilation of Breaking News footage from 4/20-21, 1999 from the Marion Stokes Archives: https://rumble.com/vjke13-breaking-news-coverage-apr.-20-21-1999-marion-stokes-archives.html. This does not include the documentary that OP is looking for.
OP is looking for the lost documentary that aired on Dateline NBC April 30, 1999 in which Eric's soccer video was shown. It should be available on the Marion Stokes archives if anyone is brave enough to sift through? That's what I'm gathering at least? Please let us know if you can find it!
User u/StrayBulletin has a blog and has been kind enough to share a lot of their posts here. I really do think it's a fresh take on analyzing different aspects of Columbine, as well as doing book reviews (wink wink!). I think you would find it very interesting, Randy!

Let me know what you think .
It would have been interesting. I agree that it shouldn't be sensationalized.
And you're right it could be many reasons. I wish there was an update on what happened. Maybe there is one somewhere or someone else knows something. At least the teachers must know. But with a subject like Columbine I would think it wouldn't be hard to find a publisher? And she was already a published author so I think that had to help with getting this book published. If it was due to her health maybe someone else could end up publishing it?
By the way I looked for her book by 'Jim Estes' as it says on the first article and it seems there was a mistake there because the name of the opera singer is Simon Estes.
You can take a look at that book here: https://www.amazon.com/Simon-Estes-His-Voice-Autobiography/dp/1890621013/ref=sr_1_1?crid=HOW19X1YQ6QF&keywords=simon+estes&qid=1663646351&sprefix=simon+estes%2Caps%2C93&sr=8-1
That story sounds interesting too.
Hey all!
Just want to remind everyone that our user u/StrayBulletin has a wonderful blog on the Columbine massacre. They really have fresh takes when discussing the massacre as a whole, including analytical posts such as this one. In fact, many (if not all!) of the posts you see here are because the OP was kind enough to share it with us on our page here as well.
Please check out the Stray Bulletin blog at this link: https://www.pillowfort.social/TheStrayBulletin
Could have been random. The Anarchist Cookbook was pretty notorious back in the day, and I believe is where they got the instructions for a bunch of stuff. I can't find my copy at the moment, but there's information on... all sorts of things in there.
