Of course! There are tons on Amazon, but this is the one I got. It came highly recommend by a few gals in another group who have to use it regularly. I like that it syncs to my phone. A lot of people complained about the lancet (the poker thingie) being junky, but it works great for me. No complaints on this thing and the nerd in me loves seeing all the data and how my meals impact my levels.

I had lots of headaches when I was pregnant and ALWAYS work up with a sore throat. I never had the virus.
I am sorry you don’t feel well! Hopefully you don’t have the virus. LOTS of pregnancy symptoms are the same as corona.
Edit to add: I carried this around and used religiously to help my headaches: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00S550H2I/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fab_.3JAFbTF9ZM75
Couple of options I could think of if you wanted to go:
there are portable air purifiers you could get and use for places like your hotel room, Uber, etc.
mask using a KN95 or N95 indoors
take meals to go, if possible, and eat in your hotel room. Not the same experience, but if you have a nice hotel room it could still be fun?
I'd also talk to my doctor about travel risks and what they might think or suggest. It's very normal to hear about people taking babymoons, but with the COVID risks it feels very up to you, which is so hard. I want to take a babymoon myself, but I don't know where we'd go. We're planning to see family out of state in February and I don't think we'll have the time (PTO) to take another babymoon after that, unfortunately.
Ugh I keep reading stories like yours and I get nervous every time I go in for my appointments that they will have dropped the masks! My OB is connected to a hospital, and luckily the hospital has maintained their mask requirements very strictly. I've still been bringing a Munchkin portable air purifier to be extra safe, but it's so tiny I'm not really sure if it's doing much.
Whenever people act like COVID is over, I want to show them the wastewater data that says cases are at their highest/longest plateau since the start, and then send them over to r/longcovid and have them read a few posts. Normalcy bias is so so strong.
Also, why drop masks right as we're going into cold/flu season? And the holidays where we always see a huge COVID spike? And while RSV and other respiratory illnesses are spreading like crazy??
So sorry you're having to deal with this and sending good vibes your way to make it through the home stretch!
I’m really sorry to hear this. Could you potentially bring a portable HEPA filter for your exam room and then use it in your hospital room as well? An aerosol scientist I follow on Twitter recommended this one: https://www.amazon.com/Westinghouse-Portable-Purifier-Filter-Technology/dp/B087V6CBT4/ref=mp_s_a_1_4_mod_primary_new?crid=1ICVX48L8CYVM&keywords=portable+hepa+air+purifier&qid=1666810688&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI0LjU0IiwicXNhIjoiNC4xNiIsInFzcCI6I...
Best of luck to you!
I love these while pregnant and loved them even more when I unfort had Covid a few weeks ago and was exhausted but struggling with pregnancy insomnia: MegRhythm by Kao Gentle Steam Eye Mask, Lavender
We bought her her own seat so we could bring and use the car seat. I also bought a cover for the car seat: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08J7M7RN8/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_X1Z9S54CYA15BESSN649?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
In all honestly she only say in the car seat for maybe twenty minutes total between both flights so we didn't get much use out of that cover. But we still use it at the doctor's office so we can at least shield her from germs now. Might be helpful to think of it as a mask your baby can't wear!
> My doctors recommending it to all HEALTHY pregnant woman,
Oh, so your story changes again. I gave the peace sign meaning I am leaving you. No need to keep responding.

Only Ebay or Amazon search Moldex. Their price will range between $5-10 each. I got a pack of 15 none vent for $60 last month.

I like this still even more then the 3m as the strap is easy to put on and take off. When off the mask hangs around your neck. 3m dual around head is harder to take off and put on.
The moldex also seems like it would be more durable for multiple uses. This style is what military uses which I would image allows for multiple uses.
I have used 3m for years, and had a box of them for this year. I switched from 3m cause I didnt want it to be super visible I was wearing a n95. 3m is a bit easier to breath through than the moldex, but is nowhere as durable.

(Amazon will only have valve type)
Certainly!
But there are sooooooo many out there. I really like this one so far though, there is a lot of space for writing whatever you want and a good amount of prompts. Enjoy!
If you Google ear guards for masks or mask extensions you'll get a ton of options, but here's just one example. They typically wrap around the back of your head and take pressure off the ears :)

Probably embarrassing to share but I got one of these to keep in the car and it’s absolutely been a lifesaver. I’ve used it so many times lol.

I totally get needing to get out a little. I still went into the store until about a month ago when we reopened in my state but now that things are open I’m honestly more nervous because people are being more reckless and it’s way more crowded. Plus, I always have my older kiddo at home and my husband is back at work, so there’s no way I’m taking her in the store with me.
I’ve been making “pickup” excursions on the weekend to get myself out and stay sane. I schedule a grocery curbside pickup about 1.5 hours out. Go get a drive thru Starbucks or a curbside lunch. Eat in the car and chill on my phone/listen to a podcast. Be ALONE. It’s wonderful lol.
Hang in there!
I really like Amazon and they have the free returns. Often you can mail back from your house and not even need to leave home!
Favorite shirt:

Also I'm due July and haven't left the house. I'm mostly wearing sweatpants under my belly. Works great!
Target has some T-shirts that I’m loving right now. super soft and long tshirt
I ordered my maternity jeans from amazon using prime wardrobe but they are also available to regular purchase. I tried 4 different pairs from 3 different places (old navy, motherhood maternity, and the Levi’s from amazon) and the Levi are definitely my favorite. They fit perfect, have good stretch to them and don’t gap or show butt crack. I didn’t have much of a baby bump until week 19-20 but I started having trouble getting my jeans to be comfortable through the day a few weeks before. The Levi have an elastic band instead of a traditional denim waistband or an over the bump spandex band. They were much more comfortable for me to wear at an earlier period.
Best of luck in your search!
