I'd say it's an ok deal, depending on how much shipping is at checkout. Though, I would contact Jeremy Tracey to make sure they are actually selling his boards and this isn't some shady bait and switch. Also, they're selling an oil that I wouldn't recommend using. Tracey himself would tell you to grab some spray wax instead. I use it and it works great.
This kit also doesn't come with 20 holders, which is kind of rough.
I'd say if you can confirm this is an actual Tracey board outlet, it's not a bad a kit. I would personally order piecemeal from Tracey himself and then probably a Mayday bag.
That’s what I originally got them for! I’d also highly recommend these if you want to splurge a little but I love them for the colors. You can sort the chips and stuff by color and they’re great with something like Quacks.

You really don't want to use the one with cleaners. Just get the Mothers with the blue splash on the screen. https://www.amazon.com/Mothers-05550-California-Brazilian-Carnauba/dp/B0002U2V1O/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=mother%27s+brazilian+carnauba+wax&qid=1670082320&sr=8-3 .
I buff/sand to 4000 grit and then wax without using any polishing compounds. I have used compounds, but I just don't see a difference. A lot of times after buffing with 4000, I'll drag out an old, used 4000 and go over it again with that.
I use Mother's California Gold, available in the UK at least.
I got mine last week. I've read about waxing, but have no clue what to use. The manual mentions Carnuba Wax, but with no cleaning agents. I went to home depot and the wax I found there were for laminate floors and have no clue what to get. Maybe get some from AutoZone?
Saw these to in Amazon, would these work? Meguiar´s or This one
Oh lord no! That's a whole different kind of wax. Candle wax may ruin the board.
If you want some "wax" powder, to make your discs glide better, you'll want something something like this shuffleboard wax. There are a few different types and options out there- so shop around!
However, if you want something to renew the board and make it shiny and smooth, you'll want something like California Gold.
Note - all boards are made differently. You may want to consult the maker of your board for recommendations on which kind of wax to use on your board.
We have a Muzzie's board, and we use both of the products I linked above. The spray wax helps the discs to fly smoothly, and the powder wax helps to give the disc a bit of extra glide, when needed for a shot.
Also, I use these for painting my lines. A brush works too but I rather like having control over everything. I ended up getting this because people said it held 10-20lb plates.

Hope it works. It may not be tall enough, but if not, at least it's only 20 bucks.
The one I got was unbranded. It's currently on Amazon but at a ridiculous price. It shouldn't cost more than about £3.

Any bottle would be fine.

This stuff looks reasonable if your in the US.
I use a standard 4ft x 4ft folding table like this:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00E8SZ4MY/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_XPFS4HPZX8M3BVDMFCF5
Works great and there's enough space in the corners (I have a round board) to place pieces, drinks, score tracker, etc. on the table.
BrownCastle makes some decent cases with the matching exterior color. Of course they include the discs too.
Hey Crokidile, your board is 1/2" thick at the gutter and a total of 1" thick at the playing surface area. So if you are drilling holes for screws just keep that in mind and you will be fine. You will want to pick up feet that are slightly thicker than your mounting bracket so when you set the board down, your mounting bracket won't touch the table. They make pretty strong brackets like this that you can pair with rubber feet. Tracey's mount or a steel wire to hang are likely the easiest for taking on and off the wall. If you go with Tracey's I would ask him if you could buy some feet to match his wall hanger.
I ended up using a heavy duty French cleat mounting system that is usually used to mount picture frames. For it to work, I needed to raise my board's feet slightly with washers. I also raised the part mounted to the wall with a small piece of wood to make it easier to hang and to ensure that I hit a wall stud. This isn't the exact product that I used, but it's graded for 75lbs.
I really liked the design of the Tracey mount, but it's a bit expensive especially with shipping.
Yeah it’s just three rubber feet like these that just screw into the bottom.
Definitely just use 3 so it’ll self level
I didn't get one and don't really regret it - I just keep it under my bed and it's fine. I've got a Mayday Case on my in-laws Christmas list so I may get that tomorrow. I do wish I'd thrown a few extra disc colors on the order because with shipping they get pricey to order later. I got 4 (blue, red, black, dark stain) but wished I'd gotten some others! If you plan to hang it on the wall to store it I'd definitely recommend having him install the hanger as part of your order - but I didn't - I don't trust my old plaster walls to hold the board up!

I realize your in the UK but maybe this will work
wellllll maybe "mastered" isn't the correct word - but my finish was much improved by using the following process:
8 coats of water based poly, each coat allowed to dry for 2 hours and sanded to 220 between coats (usually takes a couple days if I'm really on top of it).
Once the final coat goes on, you're supposed to let it cure for like, a month, but I've never done that. I just go right into final sanding starting with 220 and stepping up to 7000. It doesn't seem like you're doing anything until you get to 5000 and then you start to see that glassy shine. Then after 7000 and a coat of carnauba wax hoooo baby, it glides.
I imagine you could just add more coats and add more curing time and get a better result - but what I'm getting so far with the above process seems good enough!
I used Danish oil and wax, no poly. You can feel the lines when you run your fingers over them. They do not effect game play.
This is the bit I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000AM18PE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I didn't buy the powder, I don't think I'm going to use it at least not until I get better using the standard board. On the website they recommend using pronto classic so I think I'll try that and see how I get on.

A search for "Jouets crokinole" turns up this link.
No. That's a Cleaner Wax. You want the wax without the cleaner. It says Step 3 on the car and has a blue band on it. https://www.amazon.com/Mothers-05550-California-Brazilian-Carnauba/dp/B0002U2V1O/ref=asc_df_B0002U2V1O/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312279483767&hvpos=1o5&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14297052339886462749&hvpone=&hvptwo=&h...
I believe boards are usually finished with an increasingly fine series of sandings, a couple coats of varnish, and then carnuba wax. I heard the Mayday boards are topped with a wood veneer that is then waxed. I'm not sure if you would want to go back and varnish the veneer, but you can definitely get some quality wax and go to town. This wax is pretty highly regarded.
Edit: ~~Not sure why the link formatting isn't working. C'est la vie.~~ And I figured it out.
