Talk to your coach. They might have ideas. Also find your own motivation 🤷🏽♀️ And maybe recruit some faster boys for next year. Motivated Runners Find a Way: A Parable about Running and Life https://www.amazon.com/dp/1521440034/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_glc_i_9QXQ0DPPEQ81WQKN783S
Get in to the practice of weighing yourself pre-run and after your run. I usually do it sans clothes before I get dressed for the run and just before I hit the shower after the run on the same scale. I use this Renpho scale which connects the scale to an app that gives you all kinds of information.
Rehydrate the difference (16oz=1lb) over the next 12-24 hours before your next run.
I suggest you do some reading and get your teammate involved too.
A good book for training would be this

I haven't seen a XC spike that wasn't narrow and without support. :D
That said, my XC daughter got these this year and loves them. This is her third year running and second year on varsity, wearing spikes.

I think I used to have this, but I'm not completely sure. I thought it was normal. I used to play basketball a lot when I was in 6th grade and I always would have my bone sticking out a bit from underneath my kneecap. I thought it was normal though. It used to hurt a lot, especially when I fell on it while playing, but once I stopped that growth spurt, it went away. I would think you should buy mueller jumpers knee strap like this onehttps://www.amazon.com/Mueller-Jumpers-Knee-Strap-Black/dp/B07NFS4ZLJ
GPS will be very hard to find in that price range — a phone app like Strava will be your best bet. The cheapest watch would probably be a Refurbished Garmin., coming in at $70.
