There’s also a great website I like to use and have found a fair chunk of my textbooks on called Library Genesis!
The UI can be a bit fiddly but once you get the hang of it you’re good to go!
Try DAT Bootcamp's free biology for starters. It's free, and it's foundational biological sciences that aren't likely to change: https://www.notion.so/DAT-Bootcamp-Bio-Academy-c9625820803548d698a9b47c5dd35fa4 They have other things but this was probably the one thing that was the exact same for free users or subscription.
Chad's chemistry was suggested to me, I never got around to it. Feralis' Biology was also recommended to me and I never got around to it.
no worries! I have adhd so I've become SO hyperfocused on staying structured and answering the question when I write prompts (it's borderline anxiety now lmao). It's good to write, sleep on it, come back to it, and repeat! "Your Essential Guide to Dental School Admissions.." by Helen Yang really helped me when I wrote my ps. it showed a bunch of examples so I understood how to write to show and not just tell.
Just a hoop to jump through. Use larger, thicker instruments, pkt3 for transfer of wax. They hold heat longer.
Also, use this torch for micro adjustments:
About $250 for a home setup on Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Turbine-Compressor-System-Bottle/dp/B0B1HL3NPJ/ref=mp_s_a_1_4
The compressor will be loud and the unit will just be ok to practice (don't even think of using it on humans). Share with others so the cost won't be crazy.
Your home lab should also include an electric waxer. (Ask the upper class if anybody these expenses are worth it).
In my mind, $250 bucks isn’t much if I’m trying to save up to $4k. I would rather spend $250 and get a feel for it before I invest. Unfortunately I don’t have an exact link because I didn’t buy one, but this one is super cheap and comes with a box and light. Light is probably not the best but good to try out. $60 Loupes

This link has everything you need. Also, download the Bootcamp app and you can use the biology flash cards. These are all open-source, you don’t need to pay
Honestly, yeah. The resources from DAT Bootcamp was a bit underwhelming but for ~$250 at the time I used it, I was fine with it:
The biology notes they offer are free to access though premium or not (https://www.notion.so/DAT-Bootcamp-Bio-Academy-c9625820803548d698a9b47c5dd35fa4) . The chemistry section isn't worth your time. PAT Generators were nice (though I'm sure other resources have similar stuff). Reading comprehension wasn't worth it. Of course, no manual dexterity section.
This is by far my favorite book. Great book to learn a good foundation to build off of. The book is out of print which explains the price. Lower cost copies do come up for sale.

I think you should start by following a university studying program because it's really hard and overwhelming to start with foreign references. I'm not sure why you don't want to follow your university's program maybe you can't have it because it's not online, you don't think it's good or whatever your reason is, you can download Damascus university study subjects and start studying them as they are clear and written in Arabic so you can easily understand them. Damascus University has a good quality of the Faculty of Dentistry curriculum. You can find the subjects that are reoptimized to be more clear and understandable by RBCs students team. this is the team app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rbcs.team.app.it If you want to start with references those are good ones I found on the internet: Netter's Head and Neck Anatomy for Dentistry The Complete Pre-Dental Guide to Modern Dentistry Oxford Handbook of Clinical Dentistry Drug Information Handbook for Dentistry Handbook of Pediatric Dentistry Basic Guide to Dental Procedures Contemporary Implant Dentistry Final words: don't overwhelm yourself by searching about what you have to study and where to start, just start studying asap better than not studying at all. Good luck with you finals 👍
Honestly, not trying to be rude, you can YouTube search hundreds to thousands of waxing videos easily. There are abundant tutorials out there. Also, purchase a flame torch on Amazon and you can wax at home as much as you want.
