Nice. I would take some plastic restorer/cleaner to that black part of your front bumper, just under the grill. I use Honda Spray Cleaner and Polish. Cleans up that type of material real nice without a fake looking high gloss glow. Also works great on chrome. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JJZI74M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_B4TGM1JJYH18BJ3E1187
Yes. I have one of these
CTEK (56-353) MULTI US 7002... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FRLO9Y?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I hard wired it to the drivers side battery on my LBZ. it has a quick release connection and the charger stays in my garage and I bought the extension cord for the cable and park the truck just outside the garage.
Works great and considering I can go a couple weeks between drives (especially with COVID & WFH) has been a great investment.
You can do it but I'm away from mine for a few days so can't step you thru it.. But the way I kicked it off is bought a bafx odbii Bluetooth dongle. Download torque and and plugin called biscan. This app will allow you to start a Regen.. here is a dongle that can do this. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any questions.
You have a check engine light, there something going on with your emissions. You can pull the code if it's OBDII compatible with one of these cheap scanners.
1st thing I would do is top off the def, then drive it for a day or two. I have a 16 that did this
while I was hunting one time the truck was parked on a hill side and it indicated that I was out of DEF when I started the truck, I drove about 100 miles to the nearest parts store and topped up the def, the code kept popping every little bit until I ran down the toll road at 80 for about 20 minutes, then it cleared...my scanner was at home.

North Dakota will see swings of -40f at times but really only holds -20 to -30 for a few months on the northern border. Add one of these to the outside bottom of your pan (Kat's 24150 150 Watt 4"x 5" Engine Oil Pan Heater https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000I8TQD6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_5R82Q62XB6JF2X9X3WXG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) helps heat your oil while the block heater works on the coolant. Double check the water to coolant ratio of your coolant as well.
New(er) AGM batteries, AMSOIL all in one diesel additive (personal recommendation) and run local fuel.
Would recommend a winter grill cover, I was driving last year 80mph across the prairie and it appeared my coolant wasn’t even maintains temp, never checked on my ezlynk, but my trans was only 120. I was running 80 cruise on for a few hours before a break and 8-10 hours total. You can run a 220amp alternator to help recharge the batteries as they “should” have higher out put at lower RPM.
I have a fass titanium series lift pump and it has heater options for it as well, doesn’t help what’s currently in the system on cold start but it will heat the fuel and cycle some back to the tank as well.
As far as gassers they have less issues but still have issues, I had a 800+ CCA AGM not be enough it was so cold, also had an I line fuel filter freeze. Things can happen to either system, the only failure is preparation on any vehicle. Oh and thick, thick thick, jumper cables, can’t seem to find them anymore, if you have to jump some one or yourself you’ll appreciate it

This is 20A rated, but there are also 15A mechanical timers. Set it to be on from 3:30-5:30am, plug your truck in when you get home if the forecast warrants, no harm or energy use of nothing’s plugged in.

Nice truck have the same one 10 months now
It's on the passenger side right above the valley next to the ybridge. Cannot miss it. It's a 90-degree so best-use a similar hose which won't kink. I used a shaped silicone hose to replace mine.
I cut one of these down. HPS Silicone Hose

I use this one from Amazon for my 06 LBZ with dual batteries.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084YQSVZ6?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
Did mine about 9 or so months ago and it’s been going strong ever since. The job isn’t too awful with an extra set of hands or eyes, as there are some bolts that you can easily miss and add to the difficulty.
This is the kit I used minus the seal for the oil cooler halves when you slip it: GM Duramax 2500/3500 Diesel 6.6 Oil Cooler install Kit 2001-2010 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IXW2TB0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_ND97M03GTS5W249YJYDK
It is more than likely the middle rubber seal in the picture when you click the Amazon link above, it’s the one on the adaptor elbow that Carrie’s coolant. The only thing that kit is missing is what I said before about the seal for both halves, but it has everything else. Here is the link to the seal but I’m unsure what/where it is available in Canada as I’m US based: https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/FPGES73231?cid=paidsearch_shopping_dcoe_google&campaign=GSC-Engines-Parts-Gaskets&campaign_id=10947735034&adgroup_id=107081865746&adtype=pla&gclid=CjwKCAjw2vOLBhBPEiwAjEeK9mRHClrwM6_aXLRtscTFL4LR...&
The green seal is what I’m referring too that isn’t included in the Amazon one. Aside from finding that one the Amazon kit has done me well, I would recommend though when re assembling that you use some kind of temporary adhesive or sticky material to hold the green seal that seals the two cooler halves together, as the cooler is at an angle and will fall off. I used a conservative amount of grease and it seemed to work well.
I won’t be very helpful past this as a video will help more, I used pretty much a combination of the first three YouTube videos I found as combined they had all the angle I needed to see and understand everything, good luck and Godspeed.
I don't know if you are trying to get them to be dual function. But if you just want them to be running lights do a fuse tap. Super easy and not splicing any wires.
Not the ones i used but an example of what I'm talking about.
I had one of these 4WD Transfer Case Shift Encoder Motor - Compatible with Chevy, GMC & Cadillac Vehicles - Silverado, Tahoe, Avalanche, Suburban, Ram 1500, 2500, Sierra, Yukon XL - Replaces 19125571, 600910, 88962314 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079436457/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_DPF81DMVCV4GVFVKKR91?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Go bad on my 2006 suburban and it was slipping into neutral. It might not be it it makes 4WD do weird things.
Do got a genuine Allison kit with both filters on Amazon. Just make sure which internal filter you have (deep or shallow)
Genuine Allison Filter Kit 2001-2010 - Internal Shallow Filter (29537965) AND External Spin On Filter (29539579) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L0JSHOK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_FMJMQ8DDAR2YKFFYWS9Z
I had that code and it was a worn out fuel rail plug. The stock one has a spring in it, and when the spring wears out it can't regulate the pressure properly, which results in momentary dips in rail pressure and can trigger that code, even when the truck is running fine. You can buy "race fuel valve" but I got one on Amazon for half the price because it's just simple little machined piece of metal. Installs in 20 min too.
Here's the one I got for reference (but apparently it's not available anymore. Either way they're all the same.)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Z9BYWY0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
A heat lamp. Shine it at the fuel filter and close the hood. The light and heat coming from it will warm the fuel.
Something like this will work
I haven’t used it, but it’s a heat lamp.
The astro pneumatic version works just as well and is a third the price.
> If you bought it on Amazon you didn't buy it from edge.
That's not always true. There are many sellers on Amazon that ship direct.
Right here is an Insight CS2 on amazon, sold buy edge, No prime so it's not in an amazon wharehouse
>them and they turned yellow aga
Just remove them completely.
A replacement can be found on Amazon for $19 my LB7. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0033YK9A6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_CFYtFbA9PY9P1
I'm sure you can find yours as well with a quick search. I have my vehicle saved, so it wouldn't confirm if it fit when I searched your year.
Edit: the reviews say it fits yours too.
I believe they’re projectors.. it’s been awhile since I installed them. But they’re cheep amazon ones. I’ll link them.
