https://tabletopaudio.com/ is a good source for any sort of ambiance you may be looking for when playing tabletop games. It's got a good collection of ambient noises, non-intrusive soundtracks, and combinations of the two.
I went on Amazon and ordered a business card [display holder](https://www.amazon.com/Business-Acrylic-Desktop-Holders-Exhibition/dp/B093BTZ68C/ref=sr_1_4_sspa?keywords=business%2Bcard%2Bdisplay&qid=1652704152&sr=8-4-spons&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExOFI4REg5T0E2MTFIJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNDExNT... for something like$10. I put each of the region decks on one side and the gates, expedition and destruction decks on the other side. I set the whole thing next to the board and it takes up little room. For discarding I just put the cards behind the deck facing the opposite direction.
I've found that with a little innovation and imagination you can save a ton of money on storage options. And with some creativity you can even keep the thematic feel going on. Like my card holder is black and y wife painted some thematic images on the sides. And I story my game in a wooden crate I found at a thrift store. I bought a couple of trading card boxes to story the cards in and some cheap Plano boxes for tokens.

Ouch. It's not exactly what you're looking for, but I use this for the mythos deck (https://silverhammermba.github.io/mythos/), and this for the encounters (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=reynier.eldritchcompanion&hl=en_US).
Foresaken Lore and Strange Remnants are both in stock and available on Amazon.
There's no guarantee there will ever be a second edition. And Foresaken Lore will fix the repetition issue.
When you are feeling down, you drink coffee out of this mug while reading some good Lovecraft stories.
Hey Steve, was in the same boat as you, and ended up picking up Forsaken Lore from Amazon UK for $30 USD. I just couldn't wait any longer, and didn't feel too bad about the extra $5 I shelled out.
