Monero will get hardware wallet support soon and ETN has Monero as its codebase now, so hardware wallet support is easy to implement and will follow shortly after ETN is popular enough.

No, CNV7 selling on average around 0.2 BTC/MH/day on nicehash.
See here: https://www.nicehash.com/marketplace/cryptonightv7
ETN team have bought 10 MHs/Day (that would be my guess looking at the orders on the link above, specifically #2257375), and are paying 0.25 BTC/MH/day to keep their mining going (ensure they don't get outbid)...
So, so far will have spent at least 10 BTC if they've been running this since Thursday..
All the noobs mining there that haven't seen the twitter posts and mine into Nicehash's internal hack wallet.
https://www.nicehash.com/help/when-and-how-do-you-get-paid
It's really a shame. The tx fee's are high so that's not their fault, but they should have had a resolution in place before starting back up.
Their reputation is going down the shitter fast.
1) over recent years a lot of big sites have been hacked e.g Yahoo, Adobe and LinkedIn 2) From these hacks, hackers have shared the data they’ve gotten including emails and passwords 3) Some people either aren’t aware, or just not bothered and despite these hacks continue to use the same email and password combination on various sites 4) due to this hackers are able to use the email/password combos to access peoples email accounts and/or electroneum accounts 5) Electroneum are asking you to change your email password so that hackers would first lose access to your email account and can’t get into your electroneum account by requesting a password reset 6) The next step will be for you to change your Electroneum password, again as a precaution as people are still using their original compromised email/password combo 7) Hopefully they’ll introduce proper 2FA instead of this shitty pin version
TLDR: if you haven’t changed your email password in a while it’s a good idea to do so
Couple of other tips:
1) check on https://haveibeenpwned.com to see if a service you use has been compromised 2) use a different password for each site 3) to help manage passwords consider using a password manager such as 1Password or Keepass 4) where available, start using two factor authentication - it’s worth the hassle
Hi there! We'd be happy to collaborate! ETN team are welcome to fill in the following form: https://changelly.com/for-tokens for listing. Our team will familiarize with the project and contact ETN representatives shortly. Thanks!
Your antivirus or windows smartscreen is deleting them.
Try this:
Disable windows defender Download zip and extract
Add your newly extracted extracted folder to exclusions (https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/4028485/windows-10-add-an-exclusion-to-windows-defender-antivirus shows you how to do this)
Enable windows defender again.
If it still doesn't work, then that means Windows smart-screen is deleting stuff. To temporarily disable this, follow this: https://winaero.com/blog/how-to-disable-windows-smartscreen-in-windows-10/ before you do the instructions I gave you for win defender. Please remember to turn your antivirus and smartscreen back on as soon as you've excluded the miner.

I meant to say try restarting your phone or re downloading the app, human. This is the link to the app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.electroneum.mobile&hl=en. IIRC it requires you to take a selfie with a certain shape drawn on paper by you to start mining, human. I don't remember any captcha, human.
Market cap is going down again: see image , next time stay informed with CMC Alert app (Google Play app link)
Android app is down - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.electroneum.app&hl=en
I kinda agree about not having a Swift guy. I think the mobile apps may use that Phonegap shit. I hope I'm wrong.
Any unsold coins at the end of the ICO will be used as a mining bonus. It's common in token sales to destroy unsold tokens but Electroneum have decided that there's no way for users to verify that this has happened so they're taking a different approach.
Electroneum's Approach:
By increasing the mining bonus, this will increase the amount of users mining which will then increase the price of the coins.
Supply Approach and Conclusion:
They have a solid team behind them with a great track record. The high token supply may be an issue for some but their point on making crypto payments similar to FIAT with a 2 decimal point system does make sense.
As posted already posted below:
Not sure about that... watching the hashrate of all EDIT:cryptonight/monero coins since a while and i guess they have turned of most power last two weeks. I´m just curious how many asics have been used on nicehash. https://www.nicehash.com/algorithm/cryptonight I think you would see here first if there is a massive drop in hashrate. NH is paying directly in BTC so this is the monero asic miners dream.
What Electroneum did was instead of creating a coin with more zeros/decimals to the right such as bitcoin has, they created more zeros to the left. So you got 21 billion max supply instead 21 million. So in reality, the ICO cost of ETN's were actually overpriced. I think at ICO, they were charging up to 1 cent for a single ETN, with discounts for earlier buyers. So hypothetically, if ETN circulating supply & decimal places had been identical to Bitcoin, then buying 1 ETN at the ICO would have been the same as buying 1000 ETN at the ICO with the 21 billion/2 decimal supply. They should have been selling the ETN coins for .001 each MAXIMUM.

Distributing the coin to the unbanked isn't going to help the price at all. If ETN were worth $1 each today, that would be an $8 billion market cap. Just going to $2 per ETN would double the market cap to $16 billion which is a huge jump .

The ONLY thing that determines the value of ETN is the supply versus demand at the exchange with the assumption that the ASIC mined ETN isn't being purposely priced at sub penny prices to purposely undermine the project by hostile groups. I think one of the sole focuses Electroneum should be doing is developing ways for easy acquisition of ETN. Ultimately, for their coin to really be successful used within their ecosystem, they need a Coinbase.com type platform for direct fiat to ETN acquisition.
That's really under what what you should be getting for a 1080.
If you use something like MSI Afterburner and set the clocks and voltage right you should be getting a lot more than that.
I set my power limit to 65%
Core Clock to 150+
Memory Clock to +500.
You can also try using a different miner. I use CCMiner for example.
You seem to be unaware of who the primary target market is or how and why they are approaching it the way that they are.
Unbanked ring a bell?
It's not like it's that difficult to understand.
As far as the West goes and folks who do have many other options other than ETN, there is the Gig Economy Community that ETN is creating where the target market can sell their digital service skills to people in the West...similar to what's done on fiverr.com.
ETN will be needed by the purchaser of the services.
Now if you were in the market for decent quality work and could get it done at a decent price, would you not want to help someone out who really could use the extra work and money? Yeah you would unless you were some heartless clown?
If you are going to introduce something disruptive to the norm and try to intoduce crypto to the masses you have to start somewhere. ETN has chosen a very smart path to adoption.
They aren't trying to change how us who have tons of other digital options pay for things.
They are enabling something to exist in places where it has never existed before, at least not at this level of coverage.
Instant borderless digital transactions for the unbanked of the world who have very few options, who for the most part the closest thing to a digital payment platform or bank account they have ever seen is their mobile phone.
Maybe hugging some bitcoin is more your speed.
ETN is coming to the unbanked people of the world and they will decide it's worth and value to them, not you.
They could care less about our 1st world problem of many convienent digital payment options available to us.
They want a slice of the pie too.
Inclusion ring a bell?
Have a nice day, sorry to burst your bubble and tell you that you aren't the primary target market during the initial phases towards mass adoption.
grrrr.........

Yes. I wonder if there is a similar link between Billon and ETN for this 'bridging' token for retail users. I also wonder if elements of the Krona Payment Network feature in the ETN Aurora blockchain update, as that appears to be have put together by a current Electroneum developer...
I also feel that elements of the Retortal solution and 'white labelling' will be leveraged; I think Chamath Palihapitiya is on record saying that linking some kind of wallet to social media to support KYC / onboarding / Single Sign On etc. would be a good idea.
It's a shame not much more is known about this Electroneum patent; the application still looks like it is pending. Perhaps the Aurora update means a new patent submission is due if Electroneum intend to license their 'Payment Interface'...
If nothing else I suspect some kind of framework for the UK CBDC has been determined for the 'pilot'.
Curious to see Celo doing well during this correction, too.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.libonomywalletNo verification, no phone numbers, no emails, no names, no KYC - it's a direct connection with blockchain and complete anonymity
I don't think Electroneum is competition for the unbanked. I think Cardano will just explode out of nowhere without notice. But I think Telcoin will be huge soon since they are working with mobile phone companies and have government approval for remittances. Celo also looking to make a move, also the biggest Stellar. I don't think Electroneum can compete with the competition.
That should be beneficial. Isn't there a similar mobile solution out there?Celo. I only glanced at Celo. I was looking forward to staking on mobile with ETN. Hope all goes well in Africa, seems to be a highlight for 2021 conferences.

A interactive donation game would be funny. For example the Players think up different tasks and if someone has done this task successfully, the one gets a small reward/donation (ETN of course) for his action (+ optional: the community can vote if the task was solved good to get the reward and/or the Player with most Votes gets the reward). Example Tasks: Upload a picture/video with a ETN sign in your hand, write the word ELECTRONEUM with a pen onto your face and take a photo of this, sing/shout a song about "ELECTRONEUM!!!" and upload this video, draw a nice picture including the word Electroneum, etc...

Optional: Every task needs at least two competitors to start so they can compete against each other. Everybody can vote for the favorite Player with a small Amount of ETN. The Player who gets most ETN will get the Payment of ETN he deserved...

Btw: If you want I can support you for your App with 100 free physical Electroneum Coins ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B859YZH ) which you can use for a Competition or as Reward...
Are those listed phones available in ETN's target markets? You know that (someone from the Philippines for example), isn't shopping on Amazon and Amazon isn't delivering there right?
And again, is the M1 maybe a better option than going the used route or possibly buying something that turns out to be a fake knockoff.

Who cares about any existing competition, real or percieved. It's a branding/marketing tool and fills a niche in the mobile phone market for affordable phones that can run a version of android.

From the amazon link you posted.

This is technically a $130 phone, but you get it from Amazon or carriers for a lot less. Under $60 in some cases.

It's a bit different from the usual airdrop as you have to keep it on in the background where it does simulated mining. Doesn't use cpu like actual mining though.
Referal code if you want to use it 879EE8
Amd cards seem to mine better for the cost on CryptoNight algorithm according to whattomine .com. and they are cheaper now finally, something like a rx 570/580 8gb would be good to start and put it in a very low cost old used desktop that just runs the card with enough room and power. You don't have to worry about using pci 3.0 for number crunching a 2.0 slot is totally fine. https://www.amazon.com/MSI-RX-570-ARMOR-8G/dp/B076Y93L8F/ref=sr_1_13?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1513453668&sr=1-13&keywords=amd+rx and get a junker desktop from craigslist to put the card in. Not glamorous but it would mine pretty well to start out, plus the coin is young and block rewards are a' plenty for now
