Ergatta didn't include a battery operated pump, we got the Luigi Pump instead https://www.amazon.com/Liquid-Fuel-Transfer-Siphon-Pump/dp/B06XKHP8Q4/ref=sr_1_14?dchild=1&keywords=siphon&qid=1629427165&sr=8-14 and it just required constantly pumping it.
There are number of pillows for rowing. For instance this here marketed for the C2, which for me works perfectly fine on the WaterRower: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B08R3GM9BK?psc=1&smid=A1RS5ZYFXREN23&ref_=chk_typ_quicklook_titleToDp
I use this one and have been quite happy. Personally I wouldn't purchase any accessories from waterrower/ergatta unless they're the only option.
Thanks for the mansplaining, honestly. No hurt feelings at all. I have soft hands. I'm ok with that. I wear gloves for lots of things including rowing and lifting, yardwork, whatever. They help prevent blisters. They help prevent other injuries. They make it easier to get a better grip. These are my most recent purchase. They do the trick, have held up well, and are pretty inexpensive. Spacepower Workout Gloves, Weight... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082QVGG2R?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I use a Garmin dual monitor (ANT+ and Bluetooth) and it works well (Garmin 010-12883-00 HRM-Dual... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N3C5WRG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share). It is a chest strap. I first used one that goes on my forearm that I use in my indoor bike trainer, but that one is uncomfortable when rowing so I would not recommend heart monitors that wrap around your forearm.
Someone in another post said this one worked well: https://www.amazon.com/ZEXMTE-Adjustable-Foldable-4-7-12-9-Phones/dp/B08R5PKX44/ref=gp_aw_ybh_a_29?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=H8QQJM9QFSRP8JZ5VHKV
Ordered this and it works well. Thought it would be too thick - nope. Thought it would slip off the seat - nope. Just works
I also just found a cable that may work better if you want a smaller battery pack. I don't know if this is a DC2.1 jack or not, but it looks close.

These are the gloves I use. I have calluses but no blisters. I don’t actually grip the handle with my thumbs. Basically just my fingers over the top. They send you an email with a google doc spread sheet where you input all the values that you want to make the workout how you want it. Gloves
You may be able to get something like Allcast working, but I wouldn't recommend it. The minor delay in any screen casting is going to be very noticable for the interval trainings that require near perfect cadence.
I ended up giving up on Android picture in picture, and added a mount for my tablet. It's a much, much better experience. I used this one.
I have a Garmin Vioacitive 3 and I'm unable to get it to pair in any way. I purchased a Garmin HRM-Dual Heart Rate Monitor and it works with the "Row Indoor" Garmin app and supersedes the watches HRM to use the chest unit instead.
Not sure if the Solar would be different but based on looking at what my watch says, vs what the chest strap says, the strap seems more consistent and accurate.
As for calorie counts I don't understand the vast difference between what the Ergatta reports vs what the Garmin Row Indoor app reports The Ergatta is more than 4x higher than what the app reports.
With all that said, I like using the Garmin Row because it feeds into the rest of my Garmin metrics (sleep activity etc.)
