Not a founder, but an early employee in Edinburgh. There's some really interesting stuff happening in the startup community here over the last couple of years. We're tenants at CodeBase, which is angling to become one of the largest tech incubators in Europe. And it looks like Edinburgh could get its first unicorn soon (Skyscanner), so it's a pretty cool place to be right now.

I use InMotion Hosting, it's US-based but it has great customer support and it's fast. I use it from Romania and never had any problems. I used this offer from The $100 Startup website, since they don't give coupons.
