So the first time I went out on my flex, I fell and damaged my remote. Thus I was looking to get a cover on it to protect it from further damage and make it look better in the mean time.
And heat-shrink tubing is a great fit! I used a 80mm tube and cut it a little bit too short, make sure you have some extra on both ends.. Then you heat it with e.g. a blow dryer until it's completely tight. Then with a sharp (Stanley) knife cut out the screen, charger port and throttle. Done in 10min.
The tube is available in many different colours online and in your electronic shop. So don't be afraid to go crazy!
A version of tubing you could buy, just find something without text on it. (Unless you think it's cool ofcourse) https://www.amazon.com/Welldoit-Internal-Diameter-Sleeving-Shrinkable/dp/B0732NHQC6/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=heat+shrink+tubing+80mm&qid=1595139181&sr=8-1

Hey!
I believe I saw you post earlier about not wanting to buy a new backpack but unless you have a velcro backing the hook just wont work. I HIGHLY recommend getting the Nike SB backpack. It has fit all my standard boards/longboards, my wave, and both my longer X1pro/Flex. The under wheel straps are great for stopping the board from sliding down and the velcro straps hold it in place. You can secure the Wave with the battery attached but it is much more stable if you take it off, due to the battery being right where the velcro straps synch down.
For the X1 and Flex the straps synched on the gap netween the ESC and Battery.
So I thought about how one of my backpacks back in the day had two velcro straps randomly, I guess it was for a skateboard. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H1D15LZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_i_9SJ232BTM2KGV3PAGYCS
Two of these surrounding your backpack should do the trick if you want to mimic that kind of backpack. I don't know what backpack you have, but if it has extra side straps, you can hook a carabiner to those buckle straps to keep them in place. Or use the other two straps it comes with to keep them held up connected to the bag handle.
Make sure to get a board cover so the grip tape doesn't ruin your backpack.
Or just buy a $35 backpack on Amazon that comes with the skateboard straps honestly. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077HBV7N3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_i_WRQ54GFNB94CBMQF0A90
Oh and here is a great backpack that I use for my commute. Could handle all your school stuff, latop, etc. as well. Nike has a great Skate Board line and the wheel straps underneath are awesome. I just pull the battery off, put in my pack, and strap the board down.

Ultra Bright Bike Light Blitzu Cyborg 168T USB https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015IEJ0GC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_BXfoFbT8RJR6Y
I was determined to get my bike light to work on here and the mount wraps perfectly around the truck. Tested it while carving and it doesn’t even move around. Beats spending a lot on other lights and having to top mount

I use these tornado U-Hooks. The grip tape faces outwards but it's really not a hassle. Just command strips the charging brick right under them and wrap the cord around the U hook and it's a nice little charging system.
Here is what they look like. They held up a fully kitted onewheel XR, Ranger X2, and X1 without any issue so they should work with whatever board you want to put on them lol. https://imgur.com/LTpAsys
Go with a 1/4 in. angled riser. It with help with carving and solve your problem.
My secondary battery came with 6 spares, so I've been burning through those. However, after a bunch of googling, squinting, and one measuring app later, I believe I found the right size for the battery screws. I measured a length of 25mm and 40tpi (.7mm), so that translates into M4-.7 X 25. I consulted with a buddy of mine in construction and he recommended torx screw heads for the lowest chance of stripping. I'm ordering these off Amazon, since I don't plan on doing a battery swap too soon and I've got a T20 bit that matches.
Note that this is based on my own measurements, but I'm pretty confident in them. I'll update my post with these screw measurements if they fit. Should know by Wednesday.
I use it he floor one from Amazon basic and it's perfect. A have no doubt that the same hardware if wall mounted would be perfect. Only issue to consider is the appropriate wall "screws" which might not come in the packet.

For those who are interested in, I was able to detach the motor with this tool:

Exway went a little overboard and covered the whole shaft with too much threadlocker.
You can try these from Amazon. I’ve been buying the same ones but sizes for Riot V2 on my Wave and they’ve been great. I’ve linked below the one sizes for the atlas.

2nd the vote for a guitar stand. Keeps the board upright and stable. Below is the one I ended up buying. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B018FCZKR2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You could buy a board cover and this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07LGM869B/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_i_2RQ8RSDZ1XFZP7CC22AG
Also use another strap to keep it flush to your backpack. Wouldn't want to take a sudden turn and you whack a kid hard enough to send them to the orthodontist.
If you ask me though, I'd just use a carabiner and some sort of rope instead of the Amazon thing. Attach it to your bag handle or to the top of the straps.
I'm grabbing an ATLAS so I can't comment on wanting to really try that with my current backpacks... Wave seems like a great size, but I guess I didn't really think of that.
There's also this option: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08TTDDL6Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_i_CHRX39YY57PB06RFH40A
And the carabiner and the strap for turns.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0796TLP4S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_MSWJDKM4DA22SM895Q2N?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 These ones already come with a protective clear layer. I was going to get them when I get my exway atlas.
No. But I ordered these off of Amazon. And they’ve worked super well for me. Super easy to apply and they stick on to it. No problems so far for about a month.
SENSIVO Skateboard Deck Guards... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WR37M8W?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I got you... I did a lot of looking before I went with this one based on the positive reviews. Been loving it so far. I can speak more to my experience with it if you like. I have a flex riot. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H8Q26DN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_W8BQ1473H15AEZE0CX5X

look for stuff like this, I can't remember exactly what brand I have but I have something like this that I got for even cheaper, it's just as good as the X-ray stuff, sticks just as well but is much cheaper
If you are referring to the LEDs under the board, I'm using this kit from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0837R8F84?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
And bought the smallest rechargeable battery pack I could find to power them
These will work: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0798WGCB1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_UgDMFbX5EEHB0
I use bones reds on all my boards and never had a problem.
Just update on app store or Google play to 1.5.4

You will def need some torque the first time you swap. I recommend removing the screws and putting them back before the first time. I got this tool, a 1/8 inch t tool. this gives you much more torque and helps remove them quick.
[How about 10 for $8?](https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Replacement-Wristband-Wii-Controller-Nintendo/dp/B01LPRYP8Y/ )
Agreed on the rear light pointing downwards, but I’m ok with it. The strong red light does its job for the rear, showing cars your presence, even angled downwards.
For the front, however, I cant have it pointed down and need to shine the road in front of me. I ordered the front tail light available online (https://www.amazon.com/BLITZU-Cyborg-Rechargeable-Headlight-Bright/dp/B015IFA03I) to see, which would probably point and angle down (like you said). I most likely will keep my Shred Lights installed in the front though, and install this new front headlight on my son’s scooter. Pics coming soon.
The wall mount works for me. Could be sturdier though. I need to Mahe something to hold the charger too

I did with factory truck tightness. I was going 22mph and it started to wobble, luckily I just let go of the throttle and rode it out and was fine. I tightened the trucks and rode again and got up to 28ish mph and it was totally solid.
Edit: I ride with wrist guards specially meant for "catching" yourself if you fall (these) , I'd highly recommend them, or something like them!
