>Veto the veto. You've heard me say this before, but until this miscarriage of justice is abolished, you're going to keep hearing it. Unless you can prove actual collusion, no trade should ever be vetoed. It is not your job to manage someone's team for them. Everyone should be allowed to manage their own team their own way. Even if you don't agree with it. Even if it's badly. You don't think he got nearly enough for his star tight end? So what? Not your team, not your tight end. The guy dealing him thought he got a good deal, that's all that matters. There's a special level of hell reserved for the people who veto just because it's a deal that didn't involve them or because "it's part of their strategy." That's not strategy, it's being a jerk. Win on the virtual field, not in some technocratic loophole. The art of negotiation is a skill in fantasy and is part of the game. A big part.
Look into GitHub Pages. It’s different but it’s pretty good if you’re not doing a bunch of server-side stuff like node.js or PHP. I put a quick README together here and you could check my original code and modify as needed: https://github.com/climardo/platanofb
Not really sure.
I just found this: http://www.skybound.ca/
Seems intuitive.
You can also just use Notepad++ and save as ".css" if you know what you're doing and don't need a visual assist.
Plenty of videos on Youtube, of course.
One thing I absolutely recommend is to not F up your actual MFL site until you know it's working well. You can do this by going into the setup screen and down at the bottom left you can click the link for "Duplicate This League". It will , of course, duplicate the league on a different web site address (save the link), and you can do experiments on that site instead of your real one. When you're done, just go to the same setup page and click "Schedule This League For Removal".
Sounds like you're already on-board with the iPhone timer, but if you have Android, this simple app does a good job. I have large Android tablet that I won't need during the draft, so I'm going to use it for our timer.

Thanks! For DDC i used squarespace and Hairclub I used surge. My prestige is calculated using the average points scored in a season, +/- margins, roto wins, career wins, and playoff statistics.
Really, any time in August works fine. If it's a start-up league though, focus on a time that everyone can actually attend the draft. I use Doodle.com a lot to find a time that works for everyone. Getting everyone involved and invested from the start is the key.

On an honest note, I think an actual football would be cool. It's like a practical trophy since you can throw it around.
I bought this chain on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003X7RSTI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I'm planning to hang something on it, perhaps a photo of Phil Simms (our league name is Smarter Than Phil Simms) or a bedazzled football or something.
Still deciding if I want to call it a Champ Chain or a Chump Chain. But I'm going to make this happen for my league.
Best part? No one in the league knows it's happening.
