We'll be skipping integration with libtorrent 1.2.4 and 1.2.5 as these releases broke connectivity. It seems 1.2.6 solves these issues and the jump from 1.2.3 will include a great number of other updates.
We'll start our update cycle the last week of April, currently gathering all major issues and housekeeping tasks.
We're also taking a look at LBRY as a possible source of decentralized content, there's been way too many complaints from content creators on YouTube getting their channels outright deleted, projects like LBRY, PeerTube and d.tube need more users to be able to become viable alternatives to YouTube

If you are in Windows, please start a VPN session, then open and run the following command: `netstat -r`
The name of the VPN route should make it self available, you could then share its name with us, we'll add it to the parser and it should be correctly detected on the next release.
OK. I think I figured out what's going on but not how to fix it. I'm running IPVanish, but Frostwire isn't recognizing it. I've got an icon indicating that I'm not running a VPN. I think that's my problem. Is there any way to force Frostwire to recognize IPVanish?
It looks like you're not alone with NordVPN issues. Perhaps they're throttling bittorrent traffic.
Please join us in our discord chatroom, other NordVPN users might be able to relate and share tips, you can get there via
Howdy.
I've tried to detect the NordVPN network adapter but I'm doing so blindly because I don't have a NordVPN account
Perhaps this will fix it for 6.8.8 (coming out soon)
In the meantime, perhaps one of you can help me out, I will need the following from you if you are in Windows:

I have NordVPN and use their p2p connection. But FrostWire no longer recognizes that I have a VPN running and it throttles my downloads to the point of them not working. I'm looking for any suggestion to work around this.
Would you please go into a bit more detail about what you did here? I'm having the same issues as described in previous posts to this thread. I don't see anything in the NordVPN options that match what you've described here. I'd greatly appreciate any assistance you could give. Thanks!
