I haven't used this one personally, but it's on my list of things to purchase next. you get almost 5 oz for $15 https://www.amazon.com/Nivea-Japan-Perfect-Water-Spf35/dp/B00SM997GE/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=nivea+water+gel&qid=1627340856&sr=8-4
Pretty sure it's under $10 if you can buy it in store in Japan or anywhere else they sell it in Asia. Expensive skincare products are so ugh. Wish there were a good cheap FA safe moisturizer too.
I’ve also bought it in store at Walgreens. If you need an FA safe body wash that’s not medicated, I love Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Tingle body wash. I actually use the shampoo & conditioner, too. All FA safe!
I also have issues with this on my neck and chest. It’s flared up right now. But the last flare up I got under control by using manuka oil body wash once a day. It’s the only thing that cleared mine this whole last year. Unfortunately mine is flared up pretty badly so I’m going back in to a derm. But maybe this soap can help you!

I would apply one of these (as a leave-on mask) before bed:
Benzoyl Peroxide mask gel/cream. You can find 10% gel on eBay for cheap. Search for "Rugby Acne Medication Benzoyl Peroxide 10 % Gel 2.1oz". Amazon has a few like this one
Kala Health MSMPure Max Strength Skin and Facial MSM Gel. It's a form of sulfur without the smell. One bottle lasts a long time. You can problably find an EU equivalent
1% Clotrimazole cream . Such as Lotrimin AF, etc.
Sulfur ointment De La Cruz Only if you don't care about rotten egg smell, but it works great. Leave it for 10min then rinse. Don't let this one on your skin all night. (ex: Nizoral in the morning and sulfur mask before bed).
The avene eau thermale moisturizer is really light and sinks in! https://www.amazon.com/Eau-Thermale-Avène-Recovery-Cream/dp/B007PCB5OQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=avene+eau+thermale&qid=1624398734&sprefix=avene+eau+&sr=8-5
boric acid a powder that you can buy from Amazon.
Take one cup boiling hot water and mix one tablespoon boric acid.
Put your solution in a spritz or spray bottle.
Spritz your infected ares 3 times per day.
No other product on skin.
It kills any and everything within days for us without fail.
This works for us so well, we have never suffered fungal infection since doing this.
Please consider reading more about it and maybe trying it.

LOL😂 I’m so sorry I meant to say dry skin!!! Sorry I’m on my phone responding
If you’re more on the normal side, even to slight oily I recommend the white bottle. Give me a minute I’ll post the links
Lighter version:
Premium:
Both are also highly recommend on multiple skincare subs. Of course, they don’t work for everyone, but I’ve seen the vast majority of people have great results. I’ve got through a bottle plus 2 refill packs myself of the premium. I love it!! The lighter version was perfect for me before I started tret, when I wasn’t so dry.
Reposting this from another comment I wrote: I had similar skin, and this was a GAME CHANGER for me: I got a curology prescription (it’s literally $5 for the first month, but I couldn’t afford it after that so I just canceled it). Oh thank you!! I just got it! It's from Amazon. dangle septum ring I got the 8mm size 😊
No problem! I'm not familiar with that moisturizer, but I've been using the Vanicream cleanser for about three years now with zero complaints.
It certainly could be gut-related if it's a fungal outbreak. The fungus feeds on yeast, so consuming baked goods, sugary foods, alcohol, etc., can all contribute to the overgrowth. Your body may show other signs of too much yeast like having a white tongue (oral thrush) or reoccurring yeast infections.
I didn't show either of those signs, but I was able to determine that my outbreak was fungal-related without a dermatologist by pointing a black light at it. This medical paper says that pityrosporum folliculitis (aka fungal acne) shows a "bluish-white color" under black light. I luckily had this laser pointer on hand for my cat which also features a black light setting; with no surprise, my face lit up with white bumps when I shined it directly on the infected areas. Any black light will work if you have one already.
For your face: 5%-10% Urea Cream
For your body and feet: 20%-40% UREA CREAM
Grocerism 40% urea cream + 2% Salicylic Acid. WORKS! Not greasy and keeps feet feeling smooth. Depending on the nature of your foot skin (callus, dryness, cracks, etc...), it make take up to week of buffing and moisturizing 2x a day to feel and see results of this Urea cream, it does work with a little patience."
IANAD, this looks like hormonal acne to me. (Hollows of the cheeks and jawline) I would suggest birth control if you haven't tried it yet, or changing the birth control you are on. If that isn't for you. I would suggest trying DIM supplements and also pantothenic acid supplements. Make sure you aren't using any Biotin products. (I.E. hair supplements/prenatal vitamins, etc) you could do some more research into hormonal acne, it can be triggered by dairy among other things. I do not know how the DIM would affect birth control so you may want to check on that. You can also try a benzoyl peroxide face wash.
This is a good one. Otherwise try vanicream instead.
Hey - So I actually DID purchase a blue light. (this one, i think I found it on simpleskincarescience or a post here, can't remember: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008133KB4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
I'm not sure if it really works - but there isn't a single bit of orange on my face, my entire face is just blue. Nothing really "glows up", however. My face is just very one-tone...
My face is now very dry, yes, but it has improved slightly as we have now lowered the dose.
What really confuses me is I do follow an FA safe routine. Cetaphil face wash (old formulation) and head and shoulders shampoo. I haven't moisturised recently because of the very extreme reaction I had to the DHC cleansing oil and vanicream lotion. I am using elidel as a moisturiser to calm some inflammation.
I just feel at a loss. If I was using fungal-triggering ingredients I would understand, but my routine has been extremely simple and FA safe for years. The fact accutane isn't working either, as it stops oil which the FA apparently feeds on, is very worrying to me...
Apieu Moisturizer - Amazon I use this and love it -- I love heavy moisturizers so I'll even mix 100% vitamin e in sometimes but on its own it's still plenty hydrating. Do add squalane oil or MCT if you want an extra dose of hydration too! also I found that there's not many cream moisturizers that are fungal acne safe, and have instead starting searching out face masks and serums since it's a lot easier to find FA safe options -- haven't found a grand slam option yet but something to consider if you feel similar :)
Also if you want something more expensive, the innisfree black orchid (I think? its the purple jar) is highly praised. I haven't tried it out but would definitely like to!
Here it is! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0869L7KPR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The price is up right now but it tends to vary, so keep an eye out for when it drops.
I just started using this Dr. Eddie's brand and its making a huge difference for me. Ketaconozole and Nizorale stopped working for me, but since I started using this my skin has looked its best! It doesn't even look like my back anymore!! I am actually using it on my back and chest, but you could use it as your shampoo
I've got a similar problem only different times- my flare is in February-May. on my back and chest, probably after months of wearing long johns to bed and blasting my heat. I just started using Dr. Eddie's shampoo after my Ketaconozole stopped working and the sulfur/nizorale wasn't really doing anything and it has been a gamechanger! Clearest skin I have ever had for the last month! You could try it!
https://www.amazon.com/Ceramide-Booster-DIY-Complex-Solution-Vitality/dp/B071GMXV36
Haven't found anything else than that one. I think it has helped to heal my moisture barrier.
This is the one I’ve ordered from and I feel it’s authentic product. However, I’m not sure what is/is not available in Canada vs here? https://www.amazon.com/Curel-Junhita-moisturizing-face-cream/dp/B073TLK7PG/ref=sr_1_11?crid=21ZEV32M0PMKS&keywords=Curel+intensive+facial+moisturizer&qid=1660755945&s=beauty&sprefix=curel+intensive+facial+moisturizer+%2Cbeauty%2C13...
Be aware - there’s one with a very similar name with a turquoise cap - that is NOT FA safe. You need the white cap.
oh and make sure you're using sun protection! especially if you start using malezia's benzoyl peroxide down the line as generally all acne treatments make your skin more sensitive to the sun and you'll burn really easily. you should be using SPF even if you're not using any actives, as just a light sunburn can contribute enormously to dryness and reactivity. i use this sunscreen which does an excellent job at retaining moisture for a sunscreen and feels almost like a moisturizer itself.
That's exactly how my chest and forehead looked like a couple of weeks ago. Nizoral shampoo or cream is what I saw being recommended a lot for fungal acne but for me it didn't do the trick. What really helped me get my skin back to normal was De la Cruz Sulfur ointment. It worked super fast! I used it 3 nights in a row and now I do it once a week as a preventative measure.
Regarding the sunscreen, I checked this list and have been using the La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra Comfort Cream SPF 30 and I haven't had any issues with the acne coming back. Check out the other products on the list. You might have to replace certain products you have been using until now.
Good luck!
My holy grail sunscreen is Nivea Water Gel spf 35 -- the only one I've ever found that doesn't burn, sting the eyes, interfere with makeup or feel like anything at all on skin. It IS fa safe, but I cannot vouch for reef safe. It's Japanese - avail. on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Nivea-Japan-Perfect-Water-Spf35/dp/B00SM997GE
I think so. I get mine off Amazon.
Biore SARASARA UV Perfect Face Milk, SPF50+ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0727STS9G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_VW9QGJF3Z8PP3J14AC64
I don’t spend a lot of time outside so I don’t usually have to reapply. It’s very liquidy so I shake it up and use about a quarter size amount.
According to SSS, this one is safe with the caveat that it contains fatty alcohols and these may or may not feed malassezia.
CeraVe Baby Cream | Gentle Moisturizing Cream with Ceramides | Fragrance, Paraben, Dye & Phthalates Free | Rich & Non-Greasy Feel | Gentle Baby Skin Care | 5 Ounce https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00WH31P7A/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_XVJQTZ1FRBY20A7PTJEF?psc=1
Head and Shoulders might be easier on you than Nizoral. A good zinc soap bar will help, too. I use this one: https://smile.amazon.com/DermaHarmony-Pyrithione-Zinc-ZnP-Soap/dp/B00MWB0ZGE/ref=sxts_rp_s1_0?crid=36POIRF8WACFR&cv_ct_cx=zinc+soap+bar&keywords=zinc+soap+bar&pd_rd_i=B00MWB0ZGE&pd_rd_r=b23b7e98-8894-42aa-abb9-232109157fd2&pd_rd_w=OCqfJ&pd_rd_wg=KZQIy&pf_rd_p=dc8286ba-5f1e-4679-adde-8b7fe66c128e&pf_rd_r=050BZ8GEMQMYQGHRM10X&psc=1&qid=1648562498&sprefix=zinc+soap+bar%2Caps%2C113&sr=1-1-5e1b2986-06e6-4004-a85e-73bfa3ee44fe
The notes about your skin barrier are spot-on, too.
Also, get a prescription for Fluconazole, if you haven't already.
Sending good thoughts!
Wow, it’s looks like your derm reads this sub.
PS out of all those moisturizers, Malezia was the one that worked the best for me. Avene is too expensive, LRP Toleriane pills like crazy on my skin and my spouse’s skin (no idea how anyone uses this moisturizer) and Sebamed doesn’t really have any occlusives in it at all.
Malezia goes on without pilling, is moisturizing, locks the moisture in with enough occlusion, and somehow isn’t greasy or shiny. Hada Labo Skin Plumping Gel Cream is probably the closest dupe to Malezia and is cheaper if you really need to save money, but it seems to be less occlusive and maybe a bit more “dewy” if that’s your thing.
This Holika Holika Aloe Soothing Essence 80% Moist Cream is by far the cheapest at $20/100ml (it’s actually <$10 in Korea) but isn’t that occlusive and maybe only works for people with oily skin in humid weather.
This is the one:
Amazon says I've purchased five times lol -- my whole family uses it now. It sucks, too, cause I see the pouch is freaking under $12! I mean, maybe I just got a bad batch? It was also kinda open when it came and some of the product had leaked out and made the whole package a little sticky. But I gotta say, and 12 bucks, I'm tempted to try it again!
I use pyrithione zinc soap, specifically this kind Noble Formula 2% Pyrithione Zinc... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01E6DZXVC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share it is the best soap I’ve ever found for my back and it’s the clearest it’s ever been
I recommend Skin Aqua's Moisture Milk or Nivea's Sun Protect Gel. 😉
I'm not too familiar with fulfillmentin the UK
You can try La Roche Posay Sensitive Fluide! If you have dry skin I would add squalane.
THIS IS GENTLER THAN NIZORAL:
Dr. Eddie's Happy Cappy Zinc Pyrithione Shampoo
(can be found on amazon and drugstores like Walgreens)
Try out a zinc pyrithione bar soap like Vanicream's Z-Bar or Noble Forumla won't hurt! Not only is ZP beneficial for fungal acne, but it also helps with regular acne because it's microbial.
I would give it a try for a few weeks to determine if it's fungal acne. Simply lather the bar soap to your face 1-2x daily, allowing it to sit for a few minutes before rinsing it off.
I saw these zinc soaps from Canada, a set of 2 for roughly $40. Likely arrived faster too but I haven’t ordered from them so can’t vouch for quality.
Set of 2 DermaHarmony 2% Pyrithione Zinc (ZnP) Bar Soap 4 oz / 113 g - Crafted for Those with Skin Conditions - Sebortheic Dermititis, Dandruff, etc. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00OCXR9P0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_W5FRAH7VZQD4YVKE07VR
I get it off amazon, here’s the link: Noble Formula 2% Pyrithione Zinc (ZnP) Original Emu Bar Soap, 3.25 oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G7TUDA0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_ZWFNWDRGAQDJ9FZ0GQ09?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I use it once every night in the shower and let it sit for two minutes before washing it off.
Definitely looks like it IMO. I'd start with Nizoral 2% shampoo (10min application then rinse) once a day for at least 2 weeks and apply one of these (as a leave-on mask) before bed:
Benzoyl Peroxide mask gel/cream. You can find 10% gel on eBay for cheap. Search for "Rugby Acne Medication Benzoyl Peroxide 10 % Gel 2.1oz". Amazon has a few like this one
1% Clotrimazole cream . Such as Lotrimin AF, etc. (the Ultra version is different though, avoid on the face)
Sulfur ointment De La Cruz Only if you don't care about rotten egg smell, but it works great. Leave it for 10min then rinse. Don't let this one on your skin all night. (ex: Nizoral in the morning and sulfur mask before bed).
Kala Health MSMPure Max Strength Skin and Facial MSM Gel. It's a form of sulfur without the smell. One bottle lasts a long time.
It’s this one: Neutrogena Body Clear Oil Free Acne Body Scrub with Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment Medicine, Exfoliating Salicylic Acid Body Wash to Treat Acne on Back, Chest, and Shoulders, 8.5 fl. oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UOLBEAA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_Z8V44R8V1AWBQ3SNGW3M
If I sprayed my razor with this spray that contains that and ethanol, would that possibly give me acne? I’ve been using Malezia’s routine but keep getting whiteheads and random pimples daily. Go away fast and my skin texture is amazing/much better, but can’t stop random acne.
I use L’Oréal hydra genius for oily skin. It moisturizes without making you too oily.
L'Oreal Paris Skincare Hydra Genius Daily Liquid Care Oil-Free Face Moisturizer for Normal to Oily Skin, Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer for Face with Aloe Water and Hyaluronic Acid, 3.04 fl. oz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MG4PZK0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_BJN9R2563CQDJSDN520Y
I rotate Geek & Gorgeous Cheer Up and this item:
PURE Salicylic Acid 5% Solution (30 mL), https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HYKB2LL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_NSS6HJEW1RV5JXPS9Z5Z?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Because it’s 5%, that’s really high, I either use it as spot treatment or mix it in with my moisturizer or serum, which probably affects the pH but in general it’s been working great for me.
This is my skincare routine so far:
I use this brand for washing my face Vanicream Z-Bar (Zinc Pyrithione 2%)
I do this almost daily (I wonder if that is too harsh on my facial skin?)
I do not use conditioner but use Dr Eddie's Happy Cappy Medicated Shampoo and Body Wash with Zinc pyrithione in it as well. I use the shampoo maybe once every 2-3 days.
AM moisturizers:
Sebamed Clear Face Care Gel
The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
PM Moisturizers:
just Curology: (Clindamycin 1%, Azelaic Acid 8%, Zinc Pyrithione 0.25%)
*I apply this nightly.
What skincare routine/ moisturizers do you use?
I use this brand: Vanicream Z-Bar (Zinc Pyrithione 2%)
I do not use conditioner but use Dr Eddie's Happy Cappy Medicated Shampoo and Body Wash with Zinc pyrithione in it as well. I use the shampoo maybe once every 2-3 days.
AM moisturizers:
Sebamed Clear Face Care Gel
The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
PM Moisturizers:
just Curology: (Clindamycin 1%, Azelaic Acid 8%, Zinc Pyrithione 0.25%)
*I apply this nightly.
Now that I am looking at this, am I using too much zinc?
I forgot to mention there is a smaller 50g version you can buy to test it out. Hope you have as much success as I did!
Yes and what has helped me most for those areas on my body is this soap, I order it from Amazon and have had great results! DermaHarmony 2% Pyrithione Zinc (ZnP) Bar Soap 4 oz - Crafted for Those with Skin Conditions - Seborrheic Dermatitis, Dandruff, Psoriasis, Eczema, etc. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MWB0ZGE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_bmNbGbJSYTTTV
The only soap I’ve tried so far that actually helps with my body fungal acne is a DermaHarmony 2% Zinc bar soap. I order it from Amazon. I don’t use it all over just on problem areas (chest, back, shoulders, etc.). Good luck! DermaHarmony 2% Pyrithione Zinc (ZnP) Bar Soap 4 oz - Crafted for Those with Skin Conditions - Seborrheic Dermatitis, Dandruff, Psoriasis, Eczema, etc. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MWB0ZGE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_bmNbGbJSYTTTV
Could be fungal or rosacea. This works on both:
https://www.amazon.com/Grisi-Sulfur-Soap-Lanolin-Pack/dp/B003OXO61O
I’ve been very happy with it. Use once a day, leave on for a minute and rinse with cold water.
I had similar acne and these products helped me so much :
(1) Noble Formula 2% Pyrithione Zinc... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G7TUDA0?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
(2) https://www.amazon.com/Vanicream-Moisturizing-Sensitive-Irritated-Dermatologist/dp/B000NWGCZ2
Vanicream is better than Cerave in my opinion. Cerave made my face burn (there’s an additional harsher ingredient). Vanicream lacks that ingredient and is still totally clean :) I’d give it a shot!
Try this soap - it's way better than Nizoral IMO! :)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G7TUDA0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
i get it on amazon! it's this one, i bought the face wash because i thought it might be less drying than the bar soap, they also do a shampoo and a zinc & salicylic acid soap too.
I also felt Vanicream was a little stripping and recently switched to this one by Etude House that I'm liking: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0894FMDHR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I also agree with the other posts that oil cleansing is a much gentler way to remove makeup than micellar. I make my own oil cleanser with squalane and cromollient.
I've also found that using urea has helped make my skin less dry and reactive as well.
I have dry skin but it’s not too flaky, it just gets very tight and a bit sore. Last night I used nizoral for 10 minutes for the first time and am already seeing results.
I use almost pure aloe vera gel as a moisturiser, i say almost because it needs preservatives in order to last more than 2 days. Ran the ingredients through the sezia check and they’re all good. Here’s a link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07NWW74HQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_j5iCFb3034YCZ
Hope this helped :)
I had gotten really clear sticking to fungal acne safe products only & especially this Melazepam cream Ecological Formulas Melazepam Cream https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001WUEJ4U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_QXkbEb52SRCCA. But then I waxed my face with the Bliss wax kit which said to use the pre/post oil. That kicked it off then I made it worse by panicking and trying other products that people had gotten clear skin with (but were not FA safe) 😔
Thanks for the well wishes! I was wondering where u found it as I haven’t seen it online yet. Did u get it on amazon?
I’m using this one right now - it’s Korean I believe, but I buy it in the US:
Hair Food Purifying Shampoo https://www.amazon.com/Hair-Food-Purifying-Treatment-Lavender/dp/B07JHJRC9B
Or Phillip Adam Orange Vanilla Shampoo https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GJTX8YF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_RiBIFb4441QKR
Alright, I feel like I've settled into my routine and I'm very happy with it right now, so I can share! I will say that honey has worked super well for me, but physical exfoliation is has not, and from what I have read, is not advised. I had not used chemical exfoliation with acids until pretty recently, but they've worked amazing for me. Just patch test and don't over do it, take it slow. Also I did not start with alllll of these products, and I don't use them all at the same time.
Cleanser- Vanicream
Moisture- SUKOYAKA SUHADA Urea Moisturizing Toner & eye cream (2 different products, same brand), Hylamide SubQ Skin (Salicyclic acid & Hyaluronic Acid) , TO (The Ordinary) Squalane Oil, and Avene Tolerance Extreme Emulsion facial lotion.
Antioxidants-TO Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution (Vit C), TO Pycnogenol
Acids/Chemical Exfoliants- TO Lactic Acid + HA, TO Alpha Lipoid Acid,
other things~ TO Caffeine Solution, TO Niacinamide & Zinc, Cotz Face Natural Skin Tone SPF 40 (just got this based upon the recommendation of someone on this sub, and it feels amazing!)
Raw honey masks, raw honey + yogurt masks, aloe vera leaf, straight from the plant, in the shower a diluted raw apple cider vinegar rinse
Neutrogena Ageless Intensives Deep Wrinkle Face Serum - totally FA safe, and acne-safe according to CosDNA. Contains retinol.
I feel your pain! Listen, this was a GAME CHANGER for my skin: I got a curology prescription (it’s literally $5 for the first month). Then I read what the dermatologist had to say about my skin and what product she recommended for my body (I had fungal acne on my chest too). She recommended a super gentle face bar for $12.99 and there were rave reviews, so I thought “what do I have to lose?” I am not exaggerating when I say that I saw a noticeable improvement after just one wash. MCT oil is caprylic/capric triglycerides, either in combination with each other or used separately. This is pretty much coconut oil without the lauric fatty acid component, which allows it to remain liquid at room temperature. MCT oil won’t cause any problems for fungal acne because it’s made up of caprylic (octanoic) and capric (decanoic) acid (C8 and C10 respectively), which are two fatty acids that are outside the problematic C11-24 range. So yes MCT comes from coconut oil, but since it does not have lauric acid it will not cause breakouts!

I recommend running all of your products through here to make sure they're fungal acne safe. Fungal acne doesn't respond much to traditional acne medications like benzoyl peroxide, which is bactericidal, because it's caused by yeast. I'm struggling with fungal acne myself, but I've found that bar soaps with zinc pyrithione have helped a lot with acne on my back and the little bumps on my face. I use this one. A lot of people on this sub have also seemed to have luck with using Nizoral shampoo on their face. Good luck!
Yes it is safe! Listed on simple skincare sciences site. Also the ingredients are listed on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Hair-Food-Purifying-Treatment-Lavender/dp/B07JHJRC9B Pasted them into folliculitis scout and they come up safe as well

Yes!! It has absolutely changed mine life lol I recommend it to everyone even if they don’t have FA. I tend to have dry/flaky skin and oil cleansing with MCT and adding it to my moisturizer has definitely helped with that. Also really diminished my breakouts! If you have any other questions lmk! I always buy this one off amazon (listed on simple skincare science site). It’s a very large bottle too so it’ll last a good amount of time. Hope this helps!

Have you tried using Nizoral? That helps a lot of people clear up their fungal acne! It is technically an anti-dandruff shampoo, but you can use it as a mask in the affected area(s). You can buy it on Amazon!
The salicylic acid cleanser you use is good for regular acne, but it won’t have much of an effect for fungal acne. I’m thinking you probably do have fungal acne and that’s why your other acne cleared up but not the acne on your forehead.
Also, if you haven’t already I recommend checking out Simple Skincare Science! He has a ton of information about fungal acne and products that are “safe” to use.

This has been great for my oily ass fungal acne forehead lol. Just be very gentle with it. Gently apply a smalllll amount only at night. Let it sit for 20-30 secs too

I'm pretty sure I found this one in Walmart. And you definitely want to stick with a lower percentage if your skin is sensitive.
I personally use cerave in the tub at night, and actually have been "slugging" with aquaphor. So if you genuinely can't find a moisturizer that works for you I'd suggest trying to put a light layer of aquaphor or petroleum jelly before bed. They are occlusive, so even though they don't moisturize/hydrate on their own they do prevent your skin from losing water overnight.
Edit: I forgot to mention that for some reason my moisturizer has been stinging a bit, regardless of which one I try, but for some reason the sting goes away when I get aquaphor on, so I just rapid fire those products.
Hmm. For me, Cerave was awful for my forehead acne. I try to avoid it now. Have you ever considered using a charcoal based face wash?
Consider something like this. Once a night. Never more than once a day as it's strong. Just a smalll dab, rub it in your hands and gentlyyyy apply on your face. This and using a gel based moisturizer has been HUGE for my forehead issues.
I just read a review on amazon of AHCC that really helped their back acne. I don’t have any personal experience with it. I was looking at it to get rid of a plantar wart. Don’t judge. It’s a supplement made from mushrooms.

It’s kind of pricey. This bottle has 60ct. You can find a 30ct bottle from the vitamin shope. It’s half the price.
If your female (or maybe even not?) you can also try DIM. And panthotenic acid. Good luck!
