armorgames has some good guides in general since it was released there first. But its not steam specific. A lot of the advice is solid.
You'll be looking for non magicians pouch walkthoughs though.
Maybe start here: http://armorgames.com/community/thread/12313188/gemcraft-cs-important-links
specifically this one: http://armorgames.com/community/thread/12472176/the-no-mp-guide-to-wl-300-for-gc-cs
Edit: Just checked and my Iron Wizard is exactly a lvl 58 and has cleared almost everything in the F,E,B,A,D,H,I,M and parts of N and K. True Colors and Mana stream are your rock stars at the low levels for me. I'd suggest 12 in both of those, and maybe 3 in the bolt/beam.
When you allocate skill points do so in 3's (3, 6, 9, etc... ). Better perks that way. Critical gem so far has been a lifesaver, so is a poison gem in a trap (rank 3-4 usually ) to clean out a lot of early trash.
Any particular map(s) you have problems on?
I've made the document available here. It is a spreadsheet made in open office.
I labeled the important cells and highlighted the two sections that need to be customized (xp modifiers and gem costs). The bolded box outputs the XP level at which the next grade of gem bomb becomes desirable.
