To anyone else searching this in the future, I can confirm--I tried all the other troubleshooting methods out there, but killing NordLynx was what finally fixed things.
Btw, OP, how did you get rid of NordLynx. I tried a bunch of stuff and then finally just uninstalled the whole damn NordVPN.
My Mini 2 and two controllers (bought an extra one) fits fine in this case bought from Amazon.
I'm using the wireless Retro bit 6 button Sega Genesis controller and the Sega Saturn controller.
Specifically, this one
And this one.
Ordered mine last week and got it today. https://www.amazon.co.jp/sales-North-America%E3%80%91SEGA-Genesis-Mini-%E3%83%9E%E3%82%B7%E3%83%B3%E9%9D%9E%E4%BE%9D%E5%AD%98/dp/B0B4D19JJ4
No. Lol.
The console is 80 bucks. The shipping is around 20. The total cost is around 100 bucks.

That's their shining feature, the attention to detail. I'm glad that Sega is much more generous with options for Mega Drive-style controllers.
I'm seeing it as in stock and listed for $82.99 on Amazon:

Get it if you can - I grabbed one in 2019 and I'm still playing/loving it.
It's a trade secret! ;)

You'll want to do two or three coats, letting paint dry for 5-10 minutes in between each coat. You will inevitably bleed over onto the face of the buttons. Just dab this on a paper towel, and wipe away the excess with the moistened paper towel. I did the same process with the Mode button, but I spray-painted the Start button.
There's this case on Amazon. This one appears to be out of stock but the seller has another almost identical listing that IS in stock. I'm not really sure what's up with that, but okay...
I want to add, don't use a USB stick, but rather an SD card with an adaptor. I'd been plagued with E4 errors for over a week, tried a workaround by using the latter, and boom, no E4 errors all damn day, and that's between switching between multiple console pages/folders, loading massive games (32X and CD being the notorious E4'ers), and going through the Genesis folder of mine, which is huge. Editing to add the USB adaptor that works (and fits) perfectly: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081VHSB2V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Heads up from the UK, bought this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Retro-Bit-Official-SEGA-Saturn-Control/dp/B07H3QWW5K just yesterday and i am now in the process of returning it to Amazon due to the faulty D-Pad breaking.
Didn't take a look inside to confirm but its an issue i am aware of but took the chance in case i got a pad with the correct D-Pad. I wasn't lucky.
Have a bad feeling the replacement i am getting tomorrow is gonna be from the same batch. Do you what batch numbers (if there are any) were affected?
Amazon could have a warehouse full of the bad batch and not even be aware of it (or not care).
It looks like Amazon has a listing now, but I'm not that impressed with it...
