I'm using this 240 watt and another 200 watt in a 4x4. First grow with the new light and its amazing and the price is good right now at $132 CDN.

These work great Slip one up top and one on the ground. Bounce the stream off the side of the tent so you do wind burns your girls.
I’ve got this one: AmazonBasics 500-Watt Ceramic... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074MX8VN5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share it has a tip-over protection switch on the bottom has been working well for me so far.
Choose a nutrient line. I run DWC hydroponics and have really been happy with Master Blend Power Grow
It’s just my base, I use a couple other items for flower/flush. I’m pretty new at this also so I’m learning, but these nutes are cheap and effective.
PH and EC meters. At the least, PH Up/Down with tester solution.
Tweezers
Nice trim scissors. I like the little Fiskars ( get the two pack)
Lux meter
sprouting tray w/ heat pad
Jewelers Loop to check out those sweet trichs

I'm in the process of rearranging the surge protector and plugs to go out of a ventilation hole and sit on the roof, ill post a pic when its finished.
About 900 for everything, including soil nutes and seeds. I had no idea vivosun had such a bad rep. From the research I did pre-buy it seemed like they were the top of the line brand.
this is the light I have, you said its 240w and not strong enough but online it says 600w, I'm a little confused. (the light has a veg / bloom switch on it)
I'll be researching on microgrowery all night now
I'll change the carbon filter around to make the duct straight in the tent.
The fan is a cheap clip on office desk fan from amazon, not vivosun but probably will still catch on fire lol.
Thank you for the help!
No problem, this is the fan. I’m from canada so price may vary a bit. It’s actually $29 but well worth it: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01C82SYZ0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_5pTuBbJ19VD9Z
I think its a great setup for a first time grower as long as you get a second light. You won’t be dissapointed!
Edit: I have the 4” fan but i suggest going with the 6” one
Any idea of what a half decent extraction system might be? maybe an amazon link if im super duper lucky? I am still in veg so I'm not (yet) too worried about smell, but the temps have been hard to control recently, reaching the upper 80*'s if I leave the vents and mesh windows shut. 3 300w Mars Hydro for lighting.
100×100×180cm (38x39x70in) Tent
Vents: 2 x 3", 4 x 6", 2 x 8"
Should I really drop the $$ for something like this: https://www.amazon.com/iPower-GLFILT4M-Australia-Reversible-Pre-filter/dp/B00DIH7TL0?th=1
With the tents vent sizes, would 4 inch not be an option? looks like my vent sizes jump from 3inch to 6inch? Any ideas or opinions would be great :)
I think the one I got might be ultrasonic because I could see the mist wafting out of it haha, it was ~$30 on amazon IIRC...pretty sure it was this one.
Unless I come across a more affordable cool air humidifier I was planning on holding onto the one I ordered and using it in the garage if I upgrade to a garage grow :)
